In this, my first episode of 3D Printing (3DP for short), I explain what this series is going to be, and I browse around some of the things I've 3D printed in the past. Stay tuned for more videos (hopefully) every week.
If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to let me know in the comments section, because I read pretty much every comment.
Don't forget to leave a rating on the video, it helps me out a lot.
In this episode, I get distracted about the history of Nintendo. I also fail because of it. I hope you can endure!

This is the song that plays during scene 13 in Vectorman 2.
Vectorman 2 was the second in a series of run and gun platform games developed by BlueSky Software and published by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It was released in 1996.
The original soundtrack was composed by Jon Holland.

Just to let you know, this is not my song. I haven't been able to find who composed this piece, but congrats to them.

And yes, this was visualized on a real oscilloscope.
I don't know where to download this midi anymore, the link seems to have been torn down.
Here is the remix in its high-quality high-capacity form!

P.S. sorry about the glitchiness near the end, no matter what, my MIDI file exporter just couldn't handle it.

Filmed with the Canon Powershot SX40 HS and CHDK software. You can see how to get this software on your camera in my CHDK tutorial. This is a good example of what CHDK software can do.

In this, the third video of my CHDK series, I show you how to use free programs, such as RawTherapee, to manage and export the RAW images that CHDK gives you. This program is 100% free, and you can actually do quite a lot of editing with it.
WIDE ANGLE LENS DISTORTION!!!: Your camera automatically corrects for distortions, but the RAW bypasses that. You can correct for this by going into an option in RAW Therapee under the "crop/re-size" tab, and go to "lens correction profile". load up the lens correction profile from the link in the bottom of this video, and your picture should look good. (I think this profile only work if you shot at full wide-angle.)
Some notes:
-RAW images are much sharper than JPG images, but they have much more noise
-RAW images are very large (12-25MB each), so shoot wisely!
-Exporting an uncompressed TIFF from RawTherapee takes up even more space (30-35MB), so I would eperiment with other formats and compression levels until you get what you want
-Burst mode with RAW shooting doesn't work very well, because it takes about 2-5 seconds for each image to be saved.
-EXPERIMENT!

This video was filmed with the Canon SX40 HS at 240fps. I happened to have an old jawbreaker that I really din't want to eat. Then my camera arrived.

In this video, I show you how to use the CHDK firmware extension to shoot RAW, and also how to manipulate your camera's videography abilities. As always, experiment with your settings and see what works best for you. Everything I show you whould be nearly the same no matter what your camera model is. (so what I show you here will also apply to the SX40)
Some notes:
-If you want to increase the data-rate of your video, make sure your SD card is fast enough!
(If it's too slow, nothing will break, but you won't be able to shoot very long)
-Shooting in DNG format increases compatibility with other image editing programs.
(The normal RAW images are just a dump of the information from the camera's sensor.)
-Disable all overrides before creating the badpixel.bin.
-And as always, use common sense!
