Our home sector is pretty much secure. We are only keeping the Dark fog around for farming purposes, though I think we should get in a few upgrades before we farm them to max level. Next up knock out the last of the tech and build a mid sized dyson sphere to power future expansion.

This video my plans get derailed when I realize my CO2 is backing up, I could let it over pressurize my power plant it should have no effect but that idea does not sit well with me. So Slicksters and CO2 dumping are the order of the day.

24 glorious hours without an attack, it was heaven. We got to repair and heal up. We were at full strength again. Of course I messed it all up by not being brutal enough with a tribal sapper raid. Randy is ramping up again, the raids have started getting bigger. But we are so close, only 5 more days, we are past the half way point.

This round starts with finishing off the Mechanoid from last episode before getting around to some serious repairs. The rebuild is a bit late and we get hit by raiders before it's finished. Somehow we survive because the enemies just decide not to swamp us for some reason even though it's two groups at the same time. I have to much wood invested in this base I think I'm going to migrate to a pirate base and see if i can't capture it.

We get started on a "wild" sleet wheat farm and test a new method of making natural tiles using the glass forge. Then It's straight into a Decor upgrade for the base followed by having a quick look at the new buildings. Out super cooled industrial brick is coming along but I think it needs to get colder so we can solidify the CO2 Faster. I'm really slow about getting around to comments right now, I have several social obligations I have to take care of this week and it's eating into my hobby time. On the bright side I'm still getting the videos out.

We come back with a different outlook this time, after some time away to think (and read the comments). The plan is to make things much smaller, space is going to be our biggest limiter so we need to plan small. A small Glossy Drecko farm that only holds two dreckos. I was going to make it one drecko but it was two small to fit a grooming station plus necessary equipment. Our toilets are a claustrophobic nightmare. Dining and sleeping are very much a public sport now. We even got power sorted. Next up we are going to try and use plants to dispose of heat, I think we can make that work.
