At the start, scape the stone squares with fire bars on them and you’ll find the first Yoshi Coin. Perform some wall jump to reach the landing above and watch for more fire bars as you go through. The 2nd Yoshi Coin is below one landing where a Spike Top wanders. Go into a pit where a Chargin’ Chuck throws footballs and you’ll find the 3rd Yoshi Coin. Reach the checkpoint and enter the pipe by a trail of yellow blocks. Pass by fire bars, cross over a body of water, and you’ll find the lunar item. Return to the main area and take the lower path. Climb the vines and you’ll find the 4th Yoshi Coin in an alcove. Get the 5th Yoshi Coin under the bridge and you’ll reach the goal.

During your post-game quest, you can battle Kōji Nishino at even a tougher challenge. This can be done once a day. His entire team holds Leftovers. Clefable will use Cosmic Power to raise its Defense and Special Defense stats plus Stored Power to inflict more damage the more stats it raises on itself. Azumarill with the ability Huge Power will use Bulldoze to slow opponents down and Superpower for big damage at the expense of its own Attack and Defense stats. Alomomola has a combo of Toxic, Wish, and Protect along with the first striking Aqua Jet. Snorlax will stun opponents by using Yawn or Body Slam. Moves like Brick Break and Thunderbolt would work best for this round.

The start of the ascent has ground spines moving. Time your climbs at certain spots because electric beams could block the way. An open space room contains green aliens moving up and down that will shoot electric beams when facing you. After 2 rooms with green aliens, you’ll scale some disappearing blocks. Cross over a big hole and you’ll see even more green aliens. The left path has ground spines and the right path has electric beams. Remove 3 big boulders with the Super Arm to pick up the Magnet Beam weapon. Continue climbing but watch for electric beams and other enemies. Make your way to the top and you’ll see a big eye bouncer. Surpass it to enter the gate. Climb the ladder while avoiding electric beams and you’ll eventually reach Elec Man. Elec Man attacks by firing an electric beam in 3 different directions. His weakness is the Rolling Cutter. After the battle, you’ll receive the Thunder Beam weapon.

The gym of Opelucid City contains a thin maze with trainers and giant statues. Jump off a ledge and hit a button hard to adjust the arms of the statues. Once you do, assure that the last statue adjusts one arm for you to reach the gym leader. Iris uses Dragon type Pokémon. Fraxure will use Dragon Dance to speed up and Assurance to cause more damage if a target took damage the same turn. Druddigon will use Night Slash for critical hits and Chip Away to ignore the target’s stat changes. Haxorus will use Dragon Dance and Slash for even more powerful critical hits. After winning, you’ll receive the Legend Badge and a TM82 (Dragon Tail). The user moves last when using this move but when it hits, the target is switched out in exchange for another Pokémon. Otherwise, if this move strikes a Pokémon in a wild battle, the battle ends.

In the battle, Dusknoir will use Trick Room to make slower Pokémon go first in 5 turns then use Will-O-Wisp to burn targets. Medicham will use Endure to prevent itself from fainting and Reversal for more damage when low on HP. Ludicolo shouldn’t be too hard to handle since it’s not skilled in physical attacks. After winning, you’ll receive the Silver Print and 20 BP.
