Jeff & Shirley Harsh commissioned this song for a TV show they were producing. They asked me for a real song showing the dangers girl runaways face. They wanted to scare young girls into not running away from home. Jeff shot and edited the video. John Enyart played drums, and Roy Enyart played lead guitar. Becky Eisman played the mother in the drama, and the daughter was played by Jeff's 14 year old daughter. Susan, Dana, and Becky sang background, and I (Shamblin Stone) sang lead and played guitar. The language is graphic, but they wanted it real.

Many have wondered if I wrote this song to relay an actual event in my life. I did not. The story in this song is simply made up to cause us Christians to reflect on how we make priorities based on this temperal world, not on things that are eternal. How often do we think we have all the time in the world to share our Jesus with someone, when we never know how much time we actually have with them. This song was inspired by the tragedy songs of the 50's, 60's, and 70's like "Last Kiss," and "Teen Angel."
