Testing the Giant Squid Microphone with Zoom H2 and the Canon 600D. I have the mic routed into the H2 and then from there into the Canon camera. The audio in the camera was really quite good with that, but I then used the recording from the H2 in Final cut and I synchronised them and used the slightly better sound from the H2.
Quite pleased with how it worked out although it took a while to work out the settings on the Zoom and also on the Canon to get the best sound.

Mac20Q - http://mac20q.com - In this video I show you the solution to the problem that I ran into using textExpander. On account of the problem that it is not possible to use the character colon : within a drop-down list when you are setting it up (the colon is replaced with a hyphen), I had to find a workaround.
What I did was to use the facility for optional text in TextExpander. I gave myself six choices and all I need to do is to put a tick into the box in order to use one or more of them in the text that is pasted in using the text pasting application. I expect to be saving time with TextExpander by being able to type in just three characters and clicking once to choose the one of six choices available and then okay, instead of spending ages typing normally.
I use the information from YouTube to work out what information I needed to put into enhanced the description box for the YouTube video in order to hopefully increase YouTube viewings.
TextExpander is perfect for inserting larger bodies of text much quickly than it is possible to add the same amount of text by typing.

How to use audiobus on the iPad to connect BossJock to TwistedWave. This lets you get creative in BossJock and do extra editing in TwistedWave which is the best audio editor I have found for the the iPad yet.
I move from Audiobus to BossJock and back to Audiobus and then to Twisted Wave using the extra tabs at the sides to swap apps quickly. I recorded audio into TwistedWave while in the BossJock interface.
The reason to do this is so that you can do some tidying up in the TwistedWave editor after you have made your audio performance in BossJock. Fine tune it to make it more professional.

Went to the event in Barcelona - ExpoElectric BCN
Loads to see and experience. I saw the new Jaguar iPace, Tesla Roadster, Hyundai Lona Electric, Nissan Leaf and eNV200, Renault electric vehicles, the Zoe, Twizzy and the Electric Kangoo. I even saw an electric road sweeper vehicle.
There were information sessions and an eConcert.
EV chargers were on show and eCasa. Not many solar panels even though the Sun tax is gone now.
I did see one dinosaur - A mammoth in the park next to the Arc de Triomf.
There were lots of electric scooters of various types

this application MP3 Recorder for IPad is a way of taking notes in an audio form and it seems to be set out in a very similar way to the application DayOne. In fact I suspect that it is the best way to use it, as a journalling application but with the emphasis on the audio. You can add a memo to your audio recording and you can also add photographs.
Within the application you have a calendar and you can see which stage you have recorded audio. You can add tags and you can favourite your recordings if you want to. The tags will help you to find them. There are some good export options to get the audio out of the iPad and to your Mac. It is very easy to move the files using Wi-Fi and you all eyes have the options to export out through iTunes if you find that easier.
You can have your audio recordings go to iCloud, although I am not quite sure where you will get them out. Perhaps you can get at them from an iPhone version of the application.
