This discussion (on BBC Radio London) followed the publication of an article in The Times by Maureen Lipman, a 70-year-old British actress, about the consequences of women dressing immodestly. The article is here:

Rod's presentation will be about his experiences and perspectives on the emasculation and vandalising of boys within toxic feminised cultures, historical gynocentrism and modern feminism. He will also discuss the insights he gained into Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists (TERFs) at the International Women's Day protest at Speakers' Corner in London, March 2020.
Rod came to London in 1992 to flee the confusion and loss of a chaotic childhood in New Zealand. There are autistic spectrum disorders and mild epilepsy in his family, alongside a long history of family dysfunction on both sides.

This video is one of 120 videos published for the sixth International Conference on Men's Issues (2020), a conference originally planned for Sydney, Australia, but later turned into a virtual conference due to Covid-19.
From #metoo to the American Psychological Association’s guidelines pathologizing “masculinity” as harmful, to Gillette’s razor adverts blaming all men for the actions of a damaged few, ideologically motivated groups have used unchallenged narratives of female victimhood to promote damaging stereotypes about men and boys, masculinity and men’s relationships to each other.
More than ever before, recognition of men’s issues is needed. Men and boys deserve compassion, they deserve consideration for their unique needs, and they deserve our support.
Men and boys also deserve respect for their unique contributions to society and an end to the promotion of unkind stereotyping of being harmful, abusive, toxic, selfish and hateful. We would not tolerate this stereotyping directed towards any other group.
We are in an era of unprecedented ideological conflict. By reducing men’s ability to take a positive identity from their masculinity we are encouraging young men to pursue ever more radical ideologies to find a place to belong. In turn we are also encouraging young women to embrace an identity as society’s victims rather than its equal co-creators.
The inaugural conference was held in 2014, and since 2016 the conference has been held annually:
- Detroit (2014)
- London (2016)
- Gold Coast, Australia (2017)
- London (2018)
- Chicago (2019)
Playlists of all 100+ presentations at the conferences (and this one) are here, as well as playlists of the presentations at the Messages 4 Men conferences in London (2017-19) and the (UK) National Conference on Men's Issues, “Domestic Abuse is a Men’s Issue, Too” (2020):

The conferences deal with the social and legal issues that disproportionately (or uniquely) affect men and boys.

Our thanks to John for pointing us to this piece, in which Emma Barnett demonstrates she has an IQ lower than Cassie Jaye's houseplants. He writes:
"It's worth noting Barnett's background, her Twitter feed is just a stream of feminist nonsense. Most telling is her comment after the interview, at 11:49, about the idea of increasing male life expectancy, something she finds both baffling and amusing. She's amazingly misandrous without even trying to be, or realising she is."
More men die of prostate cancer than women die of breast cancer. There is no national screening programme for prostate cancer, while there IS one for breast cancer, and it's been going for many years (likewise the national screening programme for cervical cancer.)
A question for Ms Barnett: If there was a national screening programme for prostate cancer, do you think men's average life expectancy would increase? Might it be worth spending money on that, if only because men collectively pay almost three times as much income tax as women in the UK?

It is doubtful whether any human being has done more to raise public understanding of the toxic nature of feminism.

At one time the BBC produced wonderful comedy. These days the corporation is focused on giving exposure to unfunny female "comedians", particularly lesbian "comedians". Even by the standard of lesbian "comedians", Zoe Lyons is woeful. Can you imagine a male comedian as unfunny as Zoe Lyons getting on television? Nor me.

Philip has been the Conservative MP for Shipley since 2005. He’s the only elected politician in the English-speaking world who regularly advocates for the human rights of men and boys. He is, fittingly, a Guest of Honour at this conference.
Examples of his work include revealing the substantial gender differences in prison sentencing, in 2012 – video here. On International Men’s Day (2015) he introduced the first parliamentary debate on men’s issues – video here. The playlist of videos relating to Philip on the Justice for Men & Boys website is here.
In more recent International Men's debates he has covered a wide range of topics including Domestic Abuse and Male Genital Mutilation. MGM is a crime in the UK under the Offences Against the Person Act (1861), being grievous bodily harm. No exemptions to the law are allowed in the UK for either religious or cultural reasons, yet criminals keep mutilating the genitals of young males with no adverse consequences to themselves, while the state turns a blind eye.

Sue is a United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy registered psychotherapist and a Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Senior Accredited member) therapist in private practice. She was the author of Anger, Rage and Relationship: An Empathic Approach to Anger Management (2008, Routledge), a non-gendered, trauma approach to the issue of rage, and is a national and international trainer in these issues.
Her psychotherapy models were developed consciously as a critique of the Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme which she experienced as shaming and harmful to men as well as unhelpful to relationships; and unconsciously, to have her own childhood and young adult rage more compassionately understood.
In recent years, Sue has been seeking to understand the link between rage and shame, and has developed further psychotherapy models to explore and explain this.
