Switch your diet to ketogenic or paleo
Fast once a month
Remove precessed / artificial foods
Study nutritional science
Train once a day switching between a mixture of strength, mobility and cardio
Begin each day with a bulletproof coffee
Walk with fat burning heart rate
Consider one very long duration fast
Watch for upper limiting
Begin intermittent fasting, ideally with an eating window under six hours
Consider carefully your 'why' for doing this

This video is part one of a seven part series exploring cleansing. This episode looks at fasting – the master cleanse – as well as introducing the series.
Here are some notes on fasting for your convenience:
If it's your first fast, try 24 hours. Once you become more comfortable, build out 12 hours each time until you reach 3 or 4 days
Drink only water during this time. If it aint water, don't consume it
The one exception to this is Epsom salt flushes which help with cleansing and detox symptoms. Dissolve two tablespoons of Epsom salts into one litre of warm water. Down it as quickly as you can. You will have watery diarrhoea for the next few hours

If you're overweight, fast once a month until you reach your ideal body fat level
On fasting days, keep your schedule light or at zero. You should consider each successful fast day a complete 10/10 victory, so avoid any pressure to have to deliver anything else
Avoid heavy exercise. Walks and other light exercise is fine if you feel like it
When you break fast, make sure it is with healthy food which is high in fat. High fat meals further encourage your body to use fasts as a preferred energy source ongoing. An example could be an organic smoked salmon salad with loads of dressing.
If you fasted for a long time, say 72 hours or longer, break fast with a smaller meal than you might like, say half size.
Be aware that the break fast meal will fill you up, but you will be left with a strong feeling on hunger for a few hours after that, so avoid the temptation to over eat immediately after the fast as this will cause discomfort.
