This session explains how, why, and at what rate innovation and information spread in society. Within the rate of adoption and diffusion, there is a point at which an innovation reaches critical mass. This is important for any organization interested in developing new innovation.

The sharing economy is often considered as a peer-to-peer (P2P) based economic model that consist of acquiring, providing, or sharing access to material goods and services that is often facilitated by digital platforms. It provides an alternative way of consuming goods and services that differs from the traditional business model of companies producing and selling products or services to consumers. This session discusses sharing economy and its impact in the society.
