Curfew, arrests, broken windows as Minneapolis protests begin again
"Let's go move, move, move!" As rioting re-emerged in Minneapolis last night, one officer could be seen pointing a rifle at protesters violating curfew, who then ran away.
Several arrests were made throughout the night as rioting began after a Minneapolis man had been believed to have been killed by police. Police released a video showing he had actually committed suicide.

"Hey hey, ho ho, Supreme Court has got to go!" chanted Women's March activists as they arrived outside the Supreme Court on Saturday afternoon, where police forced them to stay back from anti-abortion activists who had already set up there. The demonstrators faced off over abortion access on the year year anniversary of Roe v Wade being overturned.
"Baby killers, go home!" chanted members of "Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising" (PAAU).
Abortion access supporters and opponents argued from across the police line.
"Abortion is a tool of the patriarchy!" an anti-abortion activist said.
"I don't want a kid!" an abortion access supporter said.
The debate turned to the subject of miscarriages, with an abortion access supporter describing that "miscarriage is abortion."
"Never have we ever wanted to ban miscarriages" argued a man holding a "grow beyond Roe" sign.

In a heated but ultimately civil exchange, one masked protestor in Ferguson dialogued with Captain Ron Johnson for nearly five minutes about the death of Michael Brown, and the community's dissatisfaction with its resolve. Johnson iterated the need for civility and conversation, while claiming that the investigation was underway. The protestor, who ultimately removed his mask, seemed unconvinced but willing to listen. Only minutes after this civil exchange, police were firing bullets and tear gas on protestors who refused to leave.

Comedian @thejimmydoreshow spoke out Sunday at the "Rage Against the War Machine" rally in DC where he listed off "things we could have bought with that $100 billion instead of sending it to Ukraine for killing people."
Examples included a blue checkmark on Twitter for everyone on Earth, "an entirely separate new police force to protect us from the current police force", and "90 Alex Jones lawsuits."

As thousands protested in Australia and Britain Saturday demanding the release of Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange, hundreds marched around the Department of Justice in Washington DC.
"Free Julian Assange!" they chanted. "Jail John Bolton!"
"We have a right to know what government is doing in our name," said CIA whistleblower John Kiriakou while marching. "To prosecute this man, this is exactly what our country is supposed to stand against."
"Julian Assange is a journalist," Libertarian 2020 Vice Presidential candidate
@Spike Cohen told News2Share as he marched.
"This is what the government does to people who help expose their secrets," he said. "We need to fight not just for Julian, but for free speech and a free press."

Protesters with CODEPINK and other pro-Palestine groups gathered in Union Station to support Ahed Tamimi, a Palestinian teenager facing 10 years in Israeli prison for slapping an IDF soldier who shot her brother with a rubber bullet. One protester dressed as Tamimi, while another dressed as the soldier with a fake gun that says the word "oppression" across the barrel.
