Life without fun is like a food dish without salt.
If I say, "Life without fun is like a food dish without salt.?" Will you agree? My son objected, "Many foods don't require salt." He is correct in saying it. Sweet dishes don't use salt.
What is fun?
Everybody knows what fun is. Fun can add a little dose of merriment to any incident. While speaking, some people always tend to smile. It shows their inclination to make others smile.
When we watch a Charlie Chaplin movie, we get fun. Chaplin showed fun in serious elements of life. It shows that if we have a sense of humor, we can get fun out of our everyday lives.
How do you have fun in life? Please share it in a comment.
When I go to the countryside, at least in India and many other countries in Asia, I don't have many places to buy things using credit cards. There is no other option other than buying things using traditional money notes.
The village shops don't have the facility to trade using cards. Forget about cryptocurrencies.
Can cryptocurrencies flourish without fiat currencies?
Suppose we demolish all fiat currencies, i.e., there is no dollar, pounds, yen, rupees, etc. There are only cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash, etc.
How would you rate a cryptocurrency? How would you show the price list?
Maybe, then a cryptocurrency would be considered as the standard.
How far would it be feasible to lead a life without fiat currencies?
To have the world of economy survive, both fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies must stay.
Bitcoin would have an undefined value without the existence of fiat currencies.
The real-world assets should nicely be entangled with fiat and cryptocurrencies.
The connection between the digital world and the real world is essential.
There also we need a reference or standard. Metals often serve as standards to evaluate the assets. Any new standard may also come.
The value of the digital assets is undefined without the association of any real-world assets.
The world economy will remain hybrid
.
I know that most crypto experts would dump this as a junk idea.
Both fiat and cryptocurrencies will stay.
Governments may try to control the citizens with central banks-owned hybrid currencies, i.e., partially centralized and partially decentralized.
It may seem unrealistic.
But, it would happen sooner or later.
Hey there, this is Debesh, the information security researcher. Today's topic is AI, Deepfake, and Face Swap alarms.
Face Swap is an application of Deepfake, a superpower using AI. It can create real-like artificial face images of human beings. It can also create synthetic fake videos of humans.
In 2023, Deepfake Face Swap face ID attacks increased by 700+ percent! In recent years, AI face data breaches also rose steeply.
Recently, Talor Swift I fakes hit the news headline.
Microsoft CEO commented on Taylor Swift's fake AI images as "Alarming and Terrible."
What is your opinion about AI and Deepfake?

The fan is powered by a battery and a solar panel to charge it. I need to find out how a small solar panel can charge the battery. But I am thrilled to see the zeal of a rural Indian boy ?

In 2023, I met Subhajit Roy, one of my ex-students, who runs an educational startup to serve Indian school children. I feel so happy to see youngsters into entrepreneurship.
Subhajit Roy was a brilliant student of electronics and communication engineering. He did his final year BTech project dissertation with me.
I almost forced Subhajit and the project group to use GNU/Linux and open-source software for the project work. He successfully worked in reputed IT companies for some years.
A few years ago, Subhajit Roy quit his job and teamed up with Gargi Mazumdar and Kaushik Mazumdar to cofound an #edutech startup called Krishworks Technology & Research Labs Pvt. Ltd.
They developed high-tech apps to teach English communication to underprivileged Indian school children. At the high-tech classrooms of Krishworks, students learn to read, write, and speak in English by playing.
Now, they also integrate science and mathematics in their program.
They also have their IT wing in Bangalore to develop software.
