I know that I said that I wasn't gonna play the game again, but it feels like a prison. Every time I quit, I just feel like I NEED to come back. The core of the game is just so enjoyable to me. Even if Kasumi is the worst designed champion to date, I feel like I still enjoy the game for what it used to be.
The difference is, I just don't fight the game anymore. A crash? Not play again till I feel like it. 3 bots on the team? Leave till further notice. Boring games of 4-0 in a row? Not enough players now. Leave.
Oh, and also back to uploading videos in bigger resolution than their source file. This video was originally 1080p, and I have uploaded it before, but the compression was, so, so bad, that I opted into forcing the VP9 codec by uploading it in a bigger resolution (4k, or 3840 x 2160 to be precise) through Shotcut.

I always found this bug pretty funny. I used to call it the "Swimming Ragdolls" bug, because when they stay on the ground and start rotating and doing these motions, it looks like they're just learning to swim, and horribly failing.
I *think* this bug is caused by 343 trying to emulate the Bungie games' awful looking death animations that keep doing these same motions in the air till they hit the ground, but the problem is, in Infinite it seems like the game "waits" for the server to confirm that they Spartan has hit the ground, and sometimes the server and the client disagree on whether or not the Spartan died in the air, moved to the air by an explosion or died on the ground. Dying on the ground makes the game play an animation then change to ragdoll. Dying in the air makes the game play this "Swimming" animation, till the Spartan hits the floor, then change into a ragdoll. Problem being, the game in this case doesn't know if the Spartan is midair or not, so it keeps playing these animations thinking that the Spartan is dead on the floor, in ragdoll mode, when he's actually playing the midair animations.
Of course, this is all speculation, and I could be very wrong. But, I really do hate these animations. They were funny at the start, but began to annoy me because they're simply nostalgia pandering for an awful aspect of the older games, rather than improving on it.
At least the ground death animations are AMAZING.

One of my first Exterminations in Infinite and Halo in general. I think this is the 3rd in Halo, 2nd in Infinite.
The enemy team captured 2 flags within the span of a minute and a half, so I thought I had to do something about it, hence why I tried to pick up the Drop Wall 50 times. But, the team pushed, I rushed in with almost quarter of my health, got an Extermination, captured the flag and was able to fly.
The last part is actually a rocket from the enemy team that killed me, but AMD recording is horrible and randomly cuts off parts of the clips.
And this is probably one of the very few videos on this channel that will be uploaded in 4K. This was only done because AMD screwed the clip and recorded it in around 7K bitrate.

paladins-when-auto-aim-heal
Paladins has a lot of champions, a lot of which were designed to be "unique" or different from other champions. Back in the day, at least.
So, they (Evil Mojo) tend to design & develop different, and sometimes new, systems for said champions. And since there is a lot of champions in Paladins, a lot of systems are created regularly.
This results in systems that could be abandoned if they're "good enough" even if they weren't working 100% of the time correctly, due to it being hard to keep up with all the systems that are in the game, and the systems constantly being added to the game.
These systems tend to get ignored, or removed. (Example: Old Sha-Lin knock-back and wall gimmicks, both of which were removed, then later reused for Azaan, and it still is pretty buggy.)
Sometimes, though, they keep using the same systems, even if they were full of bugs. Maybe it's related to the champion's identity, or the design of the champion (Both of these points didn't stop them from changing Sha-Lin's then main gimmick, though.), or the system took so much work that they just don't want to get rid of it.
This is the case with Furia's auto-aim heal. This system is just...horrible. It feels like it has a mind of its own. It heals whatever it wants, randomly. Doesn't care for low HP, distance, and just doesn't have a priority, it seems. So, it feels random. Sometimes it DOES work correctly, but most of the time that's not the case.
The problem is, they keep reusing said systems. Furia's auto-heal, for example, has been reused for Rei. Two of her skills depend on this system, one of which is her main healing talent, and it's no wonder people complain about these two skills specifically.
The problem is, having an issue with who gets healed is bad. It changes how games go. If the VII was healed in the first clip, he wouldn't have stopped and would have went ahead to dismount the enemies along with Azaan. And if Azaan was healed in the second clip, he wouldn't have put up a wall, and would have kept pushing on, instead of retreating. These are just small of examples of how healing could change the game, and how it flows.
But, oh well. I don't play the game anymore, so I don't care, really.

Getting drop-hacked twice in a row & servers dying ft: Moon Walking Count Corvus. First games after the game updates. Early on the update, as well. Nice.
Full story:
Right after the game updated on Steam, I installed the update, and launched Paladins. I knew that people would insta-lock Saati, so I went with Andro to practice my aim. It's not good, I know.
Spent around 45 seconds loading in, then I finally load in, with Saati just spawning-in flipped, facing the wall and giving us her ass for some reason.
1 minute into the game, weird stutters, and then I get drop hacked. Spend 40 seconds or so trying to log out and in again. Nope nothing. Think about closing the game, but try to play another one any ways. I won't let that time and bandwidth go to waste. Second game. Goes good for the first point fight, then poof. Drop-hack again. Try logging out and in again, but this time it took about two whole minutes to get in. Not worth it.
Funny thing is, Hi-Rez won't bother with the drop-hack issue in Paladins. This problem has been going on for years now.
