The Al Qaeda Communications Center: From Bosnia To Italy
Egyptian radical fundamnetlist cell, Gamma Islamiyah, whose leader Omar Abdel Rahman (Blind Sheikh) is a major influence. The mosque is also sometimes frequented by 1992 WTC Bombing suspect, Ramzi Yousef, as a logistics base. The mosque was used as a coordination center for future terrorist plots in Europe. The Italian security service, Servizio per le Informazioni e la Sicurezza Militare, began an operation monitoring Shaaban and the mosque for terrorism related activities in the mid 1990's. Later, US and Italian intelligence will claim that the mosque was a major conduit for Al Qaeda and Egyptian terrorist groups, and begins wiretapping calls in August of 2000, between Abdulsalam Ali Abdulrahman,Yemen section chief in the Political Security Organization and Mahmoud Es Sayed. Sayed is a close associate to al-Zawahiri. It is learned that Abdulrahman insinuates an attack against the United States and that sleeper cells are already in the country learning how to fly airplanes at local flight schools.
On the morning of September 11th 2001, Allyn Klisheimer, was in a meeting in downtown Washington D.C, when he received a cell phone call from his office that a plane crashed into the North Tower. When Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon, Klisheimer went to the Pentagon to assist, where he arrived at 1:30pm.

The Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 is the official name of the inquiry conducted by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence into the activities of the U.S. Intelligence Community in connection with the September 11, 2001 attacks. The investigation began in February 2002 and the final report was released in December 2002.
The Joint Inquiry received testimony from the Director of Central Intelligence and the Directors of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency, and also examined the records of these agencies, to determine what the Intelligence Community knows now about the September 11 attacks. FBI Director Mueller described efforts by the U.S. intelligence and law enforcement communities “to find out everything we could about the hijackers and how they succeeded.”

In the immediate hours and days after the September 11th attacks in New York City and Washington DC, local, state and federal investigators begin the search for evidence and human remains. They would end up finding gruesome pieces of human flesh while identifying them by DNA databases at the FBI field offices in New York and Washington DC .No black boxes are found at the New York City "Ground Zero" crash scene however.

The Pan Arab nationalist Movement was formed in 1951 by George Habash a Left wing secularist, whom also funded the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) a secularist, Marxist organization which had ties to the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China. The Nationalist Movement was revolutionary and Pan-Arabist. It placed emphasis on the formation of a nationally conscious intellectual elite which would play a vanguard role in a revolution of Arab consciousness. This movement would seek to enlighten the Arab state and give deference to Western Imperialism. By 1952 however, the Colonial and Commonwealth Relations Office produced a document, entitled “The Problem of Nationalism” a branch of the British Foreign Office. This document was to help safeguard Great Britain as a world power particularly in the economic and strategic fields against the inherent dangers of Arab Nationalism.
The Shea Memorandum was prepared by Gerald Shea, a retired San Obispo international corporate lawyer who wrote a detailed memorandum prepared for the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks (the “Commission”) or the Senate and House Committees on Intelligence. The information in the memorandum comes from raw data and other information set forth in available governmental and other reports and relevant documents in the public record. The basis of the memo shows that a large foreign intelligence operation, headed by Israel, were conducting human and signals intelligence on the Drug Enforcement Agency, FBI and even on the suspects of the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks and over 181 others involved in the plot.
This section of the report i will be reading from is from Section 6 "Reports Concerning the Surveillance Activities of the Israeli DEA Groups"
