Government is supposed to protect our rights. Why is it that they have worked to erode them? Did you know the original 13th Amendment banned lawyers from ever entering politics? Do you realize that your politicians create laws for us that they exempt themselves from? How do they end up with a net worth in the hundreds of million dollars on a yearly salary of $175K? Why do we just comply when our rights are infringed upon? Based on everything that has transpired over the years, why do we still trust the things they say?
