Yesterday as a right-wing "#DemandFreeSpeech" took place in Washington DC's Freedom Plaza, antifa left their protest zone at Pershing Park and attempted to flank the group by running through the streets in an indirect route toward their rivals.
Police thwarted the plan and physically repelled the group but made no arrests.

A coalition of transgender activists and avowed anti-fascists fought with police over control of barricades separating them from a TERF (Trans-exclusionary radical feminist) "Let Women Speak" rally in New York City. At least four were ultimately arrested as the protest was declared unlawful.

Augustus Invictus, former Libertarian senate candidate and editor of a publication called "The Revolutionary Conservative," speaks out at the "Free Speech Rally" in front of the memorial to Abraham Lincoln. Invictus, himself not a member of the alt-right movement but speaking before predominantly alt-right participants, highlighted a need to "unite the right." He condemned "hitting eachother" and said the right-wing movement should focus on their enemies, such as communists.
When one protester spoke out against him, he told the crowd "someone get me a helicopter and throw the fucking communists out. Somebody go get a helicopter, pick this piece of shit up and drop him. We've had enough of your bullshit."

"Merrick Garland and those who work in the Department of Justice are the puppets, not the puppet masters," said Pulitzer-winning journalist Chris Hedges Saturday outside the DOJ.
"The engine driving the lynching of Julian Assange is not here on Pennsylvania Avenue. It is in Langley, Virginia, located at a complex we will never be allowed to surround, the Central Intelligence Agency. It is driven by a secretive inner state, one where we do not count, in the mad pursuit of empire and ruthless exploitation.
"We cannot fight on behalf of Julian Assange unless we are clear who we are fighting against," he then described as "A global billionaire class who have orchestrated a social inequality rivaled by Pharaonic Egypt."

Climate activists attempted to "blockade" the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner Saturday night in Washington DC.
One government vehicle attempted to drive through the protesters, pausing right in front of them and then hitting the gas again, pushing into them, but then switched into reverse and retreated.
The protesters chastised police for not stopping the driver, whose flashing lights indicated they were also law enforcement.
"The planet is dying!" chanted protesters as John Legend and Chrissy Teigen arrived.
"Yes Chrissy!" yelled one activist. "She doesn't have fossil fuelss in her stock portfoio! No she doesn't!"
Climate scientist Peter Kalmus spoke out at the blockade, telling the activists "you guys are on the right side of history."
"President Biden is on the wrong side of history," he says for "expanding the fossil fuels during a climate emergency."
"Let Ro Khanna through!" Some of the climate activists at the blockade were excited to see Democratic Rep Ro Khanna as he arrived at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
"Thank you for being out here," he told participants.
"He [Biden] said he wasn't gonna drill, and he's drilling," one activist told him, receiving no response.
Medea Benjamin of "CodePink" advocated "we need peace talks in Ukraine, not more war!"
Formerly ousted Tennessee State Rep. Justin Jones showed up to the dinner, but was handed a microphone and spoke to the climate activists outside.
"We're fighting fascism," he said. "We're fighting a system that is trying to put the profits of the gun industry, the profits of the fossil fuel industry, the profits of for-profit healthcare over the lives of our people!"
"What we must do is never quit," said also formerly ousted Tennessee State Rep. Justin J Pearson spoke. "Because if we never quit, we can never lose!"
Justin Blake, uncle of Jacob Blake, called out Biden for breaking a promise not to dig for new oil.
"If he can't do what we need to do for the people, then we need to find somebody that will," he said. "We're not talking about age sir, we're talking about you not keeping your promise."
No arrests were made.

Jan 18, 2017. Washington, DC, Dirsken Senate Building - Outside EPA Nominee Scott Pruitt's Hearing
About 75 people showed up Wednesday morning to protest the confirmation hearing of EPA Nominee Scott Pruitt. Protesters lined up for outside the hearing in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, where speakers from the Sierra Club, 350.org, and Food & Water Watch came to speak. Three were arrested.
Activists were not allowed to make noise inside the building and were not allowed to enter the hearing itself.
A woman from the Lakota tribe spoke up, asserting that Pruitt's efforts were in violation of a tribal treaty.
She began to pray publicly and was arrested for "disrupting the peace." As she was arrested, a second activist attempted to hug her and was also arrested. A total of about six police officers were involved.
Minutes later, four police officers escorted Diane Wilson, a Texan shrimp farmer who says her career is jeopardized by Pruitt, out of the hearing. She described herself to the crowd as "basically a bankrupt shrimp farmer." Others tried to get into the meeting, some with signs reading "STOP PRUITT."
Ray Scheinman told News2Share (written verbatim): "everything was chaotic and hectic, but it seemed like everyone waiting to have their voices in the hall agreed with us, as we gained a nod of approval from not only Tim Kaine, but Lindsey Graham as well. Some individuals lined up to sit in the room wore our stickers to demonstrate support in the room. It was evident that those trying to exercise their rights in a public hearing were not admitted or were promptly thrown out"

One figure extensively discussed Thursday during President Trump's impeachment trial in the senate is Couy Griffin, an elected Otero County Commissioner and the founder of "Cowboys For Trump."
News2Share filmed Griffin give a speech outside the White House on June 9, 2019 at a "Rally Against Illegal Immigration." While some other attendees were critical of Trump's performance at that time, Griffin offered a full-throated support of the then-president in an interview with N2S's Ford Fischer.
Following Griffin's alleged role in the January 6 incident at the Capitol, he is charged with "knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority."

A coalition of armed Black groups, some on horseback, marched through Atlanta today, demanding "Justice For Black Farmers," particularly Derrick Williamson, a Morgan County farmer kicked off his own land two years ago by what he has called "millionaire squatters."
Speaking at Centennial Olympic Park in Georgia flanked by armed members of the Fred Hampton Gun Club, Derrick Williamson described how some of his animals died when his farm was taken by a "corrupt system." He says he was wrongly convicted of "stalking" the judge.
An onlooker apparently mistook JaPharii Jones of BLM757 and the rest of the group for Black Hebrew Israelites. He says Derrick Williamson "had the decency to allow people onto his property and was housing them" when they "began to squat and eventually had him removed from his own land violently."
Police tailed the armed Black activists toward the end of their march but never got out of their vehicles. The demonstration concluded peacefully with photos, calls of "Black power" and appreciation from Derrick Williamson.
