Documental de 1997, producido por TVE y dirigido por Juan Gamero, en el cual se describe la realidad de la utopía anarquista vivida en España, que transformó radicalmente las estructuras de la sociedad en amplias zonas del bando republicano durante la guerra civil de 1936-39. La memoria de la revolución española y los antecedentes históricos del movimiento libertario español. Con el testimonio de hombres y mujeres anarquistas que vivieron aquella experiencia única largo tiempo ignorada.

Las cámaras de TVE estuvieron grabando en la sede de la FAL. Durante meses, las cámaras recorrieron la geografía peninsular y parte de Francia, haciendo entrevistas a compañeros y tomando imágenes de libros, carteles, folletos, fotografías… Fruto de muchas horas de grabación fue el programa que bajo el título «Vivir la utopía» emitió la Segunda Cadena a altas horas de la noche en Noviembre de 1997.

Argumento: Esta película consiste en 30 entrevistas a supervivientes de la guerra civil española (anarquistas en su mayoría). Alternándose estas entrevistas con voces del dictador Miguel Primo de Rivera, de su hijo Jose Antonio e imágenes de Juan García Oliver.
