KNOW HOW to CHANGE a TYRE or FIX a PUNCTURE on YOUR ROAD BIKE
Replacing a tyre or fix a puncture is not always as simple as it seems!
I know people that for a flat tyre call the mechanic or the wife to escape them from that situation.
It's important to know replacing a worn one or upgrading your TYRE, so let me talk you through safely changing a tyre.
Tyres come in many different shapes and sizes, some being easier to mount than others, this is not an indicator of quality.
For changing a tyre you will need simply two tools - tyre levers and a track pump if you are on the road or a compressor if you are at home.
Once the tyre is off, be sure to check that the tape on the rim is in good condition and covering all the spoke holes.
Take care when remounting the tyre to ensure the inner tube is not pinched between the rim and the bead and be sure that there aren't thorns or foreign bodies stuck in the tyre.
