They traveled through the East Glen Region to Gerd Strait and explored Landon Mountain. At Cloud Lake, they defeated the Water Dragon Gilgish and acquired the Gloris Drop. Back in Glen, they gave King Bagdo his medicine and earned the Black Key Emblem. The party has now earned five Key Emblems, so they will meet Sage Horro on the train again to continue Horro's storyline. Glen (time 0:26): The party resumes in Glen's church. At the station, they take the train to Julette. The particular destination does not matter, as long as they take the train. Train (time 2:53): Aboard the train, a scene with Sage Horro takes place. The next destination is Landon Mountain Summit on Ogrid. Julette (time 7:33): The party Zooms to Landon Mountain - Mountain Summit. Landon Mountain (time 8:10): The party arrives in the southwest. They take the exit at C-6/C-7 to the Landon Mountain Summit Path. Landon Mountain Summit Path (time 8:36): The party starts at B-6 in the southwest. This zone is home to several cold-loving critters: Freezing Fogs, Chillanodons, Ice Bombers, and Frostburns. From a Chillanodon, the party gets a recipe for the Swan Bow (白島の弓). However, making it requires Smithing Level 38. At E-7 in the south, there is a black chest to note for later. From a Frostburn, the party gets a recipe for Ice Claws (こおりのツメ). Making these also requires Smithing Level 38. At G-4, there is another black chest to note for later. Near the summit, there is a crystal at G-4/H-4. The party examines it to add the Landon Mountain Summit Path destination to the Zoom Stone. As the party approaches the summit at G-3/H-3, a scene with Sage Horro takes place. The portal in the sky leads to Nelgel's fortress, the Heart of Hades. Unfortunately, Horro's attempt to make a rainbow bridge does not work out. The next objective is to return to Glen and find a wizard that can make a magic boat. The party Zooms to Glen. Glen (time 21:40): On the middle level of town, the party enters the western house at B-6. This triggers a scene with Horro and the house's resident, Flukka. Heorot's next objective is to reenter this house. After the scene, Heorot regains control outside. He reenters Flukka's house at B-6. This triggers another scene with Horro. Heorot agrees to proceed. Eterne Village (time 32:25): A scene takes place in Eterne Village with Aba and Kame. Some interesting things happen. Temple of Light (time 38:44): Another scene takes place in the Temple of Light. Heorot, now human again, meets the spirit of Heorot the Dwarf who died and whose body he took over. Heorot learns the Eterne Greeting gesture. Glen (time 45:43): Another scene takes place in Flukka's house in Glen. Heorot's next objective is to take the train in Glen Station to Glen 500 years in the past. After the scenes, Heorot gains control at B-6 outside Flukka's house. The player earns the accolade and trophy "The Last of Eterne" for returning to Eterne Village and regaining human form. However, there is an option at the church that Heorot can use to toggle between his Dwarf and human forms as desired. The party reenters Flukka's house at B-6 for another scene with Horro. He reminds them of their objective. The party pulls out the Fun-Size Forge. They make some new gear for Fura: Spell Robe Top +3, Spell Robe Bottom +3, and Spell Robe Turban +3. They sell some of her old gear, but Daston equips her Hat of Evasion +3. The player earns the accolade "Town Fashion" for acquiring 50 different types of equipment. The party saves at the church. For completing this quest, he earned the Loadstone, which will let him open weight-controlled doors solo in the Quicksand Caves. Now, he can carry out Zilart Mission 6: "Through the Quicksand Caves" for the "Rise of the Zilart" storyline. Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he receives money for the sale of Earth Crystals and a Wind Cluster. Thank you to the buyers! Heorot heads out to Bastok Mines. Bastok Mines (time 1:13): Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Rabao, Kuzotz. Rabao (time 2:54): Heorot talks to Guinavie at G-10 and rents a chocobo. Western Altepa Desert (time 3:41): Heorot rides southwest across the Western Altepa Desert. At D-11, he finds an unmapped tunnel to uncharted territory in the southwest. In the trench at D-12, he finds an entrance to the Quicksand Caves. Quicksand Caves (time 10:31): Heorot starts at J-11 on the fourth map in the Quicksand Caves. With him at Level 81, most of the monsters here rate as easy prey. Heorot finds an Ornate Door at I-9. To open it, he has to stand on the circular platform in front of it for a few seconds. Non-Galka require the Loadstone to open it solo. From an Antican Antesignanus, Heorot acquires a Paladin's Testimony. It would be nice if he were a Paladin! Fron an Antican Quaestor, Heorot acquires a Scroll of Stonega II. Heorot finds another weight-controlled Ornate Door at H-7. After opening it, he goes west through it. Heorot earns a merit point for a total of four. At F-8, Heorot drops to an uncharted tunnel in the northwest of the map. At D-5, Heorot finds Home Point #1 by the northwest exit. He examines it to activate it as a teleport destination. Then, Heorot takes the D-4/D-5 exit to the Chamber of Oracles. Chamber of Oracles (time 26:42): After resting up, Heorot examines the Shimmering Circle. He enters the "Through the Quicksand Caves" battlefield. The bosses are three Antica: Centurio V-III, Princeps V-XI, and Triarius V-VIII. Centurion V-III is immune to Sleep, so Heorot and his NPCs take it out first. Triarius V-VIII is a Black Mage. It is susceptible to Silence, which will keep it from using its annoying, powerful spells. Princes V-XI is a Ranger. Finishing the battles concludes Zilart Mission 6: "Through the Quicksand Caves".
