Dichromatic Butterfly carried this run. It feels like Tainted Forgotten should be more frustrating than it is, but he is very fun. This was a run where I had to be pretty resourceful since T forgotten has the worst crowd control out of everyone I have played, and I did not have that much damage even with Haemolacria. Tech 2 was as much of a life saver as Dichromatic Butterfly since it allowed me to actually shoot without throwing the Boner, but it did very little damage, well that is until Milk of Baphomet was nice enough to give me a Joy Pill.

Daily run 11/24, special Thanksgiving run
The day when Magic Skin never delivered, I was sunken cost on that thing so hard. Four uses in the ultra secret and nothing to show for it. I even had Maggy's Birthright to fuel my addiction. At least I was able to successfully drop Spirit Sword before facing any bullet hell bosses like I'd hoped. Hush was close enough without it. Anyways really solid run, I am pretty proud of it.

Okay, this is got to be one of my favorite characters period. Blighted Dice is just such a cool, meta item, and a perfect continuation of (T) Isaac's mechanics. My only issue is a skill issue: I don't know how NOT to spend 15+ minutes of the run min-maxing my rolls and thinking about which item to roll/take. I spent so long on the second floor trying to get that Stairway, I was so lucky to have been able to scour the resources I needed to pull that off. This was a very insane run, Rock Bottom, together with Kidney Stone and Cyst will do that for you. Especially with Tr Isaac, since I could put the Kidney Stone down and lose the negative effects. I wasn't just shredding through enemies, I shredded right through The Beast. 0-cycled it. Once I go through the rest of my mark-less characters, I will certainly be coming right back to Tr Isaac, I might even try to complete all of the Isaac's, since they have some of the best unlocks.

This is another challenge I have dreaded. When I was just starting this save file I couldn't fathom being able to do this. In the end it took less tries than my average Fiend Folio run. It was tedious, and annoying, but I got another rune and a sick chievo now. Lil' Delirium totally carried this run, and that is the first and last time I will ever say that. I suppose he excels in very specific situations. One thing I hope to gain from doing all of the challenges other than unlocks is a bit more skill when it comes to maneuvering unwieldy builds, and general dodging ability. Well, onto some Afterbirth challenges next.

Just when I say I am done with daily runs, a very special one arrives. Here we got Satoru Iwata with the brim rest in peace crying on some shit and fetuses. A truly clean run, made it to boss rush and Hush, certainly a much more satisfying final daily run for me than the previous one with Keeper.

This challenge is ROUGH. I really don't like it. It's just getting lucky, and getting the resources you need to complete it, or else you spend 30 minutes getting to Isaac and run out of ammo. I was very lucky getting Genesis at the end, and that's about it. That's all there is to this "challenge".

This was a SLOG. Why all the way to Blue Baby? It's just so slow, so many rooms become annoying as all hell. This is just not fun. And, is it even that challenging? Bob's Brain is an okay familiar, and I don't do any more self-damage than I do on my average explosive build, but it's just not meant to be used like this. It takes forever to kill anything. The only part that was actually scary was Chest, Blue Baby himself was easy. It might not be that much harder with Fiend Folio, but god damn if it wouldn't take twice as long with all of those fast moving FF enemies. The only thing worse than this challenge is Hot Potato.

First of all, I totally forgot I had Dream Catcher the second I picked it up, I am not very smart. I could have totally done Boss Rush if I had remembered.
Keeper is not a character I like very much, the middling movement speed combined with the slow tears makes it hard to have control over fights, especially in Fiend Folio. Also FF's funny little mandatory damage room in the first failed run didn't help. That combined with the 2 hp and RNG Yum Heart makes him the most difficult character I have played. This run was really all about Eve's Nail Polish, and I can say one thing for sure: that ain't a quality 2. It quickly gives me soy-level tears all for just hitting an enemy with one of my three tears each shot, an absolute melting machine. It needs to be nerfed for sure. I'm not gonna complain too hard though, Keeper is difficult and I've failed plenty of other game breaking runs with him trying to make it to Boss Rush/Hush. Now that Keeper will be starting with 3 hp it hopefully won't be as hard to get Boss Rush next time I play him, and I'm gonna be looking out for Eve's Nail Polish in the rest of my runs. If it is as broken as every run, and doesn't get nerfed, I will probably have to remove Retribution. Also, I added the Dream Catcher reminder mod to my list after this.

After my incredible run I decided to go Eve again, and that was probably a mistake, I was so burnt out after that jackpot, and nothing was going to match that high. I got the marks, sure, but damn if that build wasn't annoying as hell. Or I think I was just playing for to long. But what was certainly annoying was that Curse of Creation, never picking that shit up again. Chasity Belt too, terrible blind pedestal gamble. At least I only have two marks left with Eve, not my favorite character, but also I didn't understand how Whore of Babylon works until writing this, so she probably deserves a second chance from me.

After that torturous Bloody Mary challenge, here is a challenge that Fiend Folio makes more fun. Although it can be occasionally glitchy with buddies who can hurt you. I liked that I got my single least favorite enemy in Fiend Folio as a buddy early on: that fly that Continuum's across the screen shooting orange flies who only appears on the ascent, Buckshot. That thing has way too much HP, which was to my favor for once. Easy run, easy chievo.
