The Chinese Government is using the Coronavirus as an excuse for indiscriminate mass executions, to cull anyone they deem as undesirable within their population. While in the west, our politicians are "praising the efficiency of the Chinese in their handling of this crisis", affirming that our governments would love to be able to use this "same efficiency" with us here in the west. Trusting any government is worse for your health than eating a gallon of butter a day for a month.

Goldfish (Pond Size)
Goldfish are a NORTHERN FRESH WATER FISH which can also survive in tropical areas just as well as it can extremely cold environments. The goldfish (Carassius auratus auratus) was one of the earliest fish to be domesticated, and is still one of the most commonly kept aquarium fish. A relatively small member of the carp family (which also includes the koi carp and the crucian carp), the goldfish is a domesticated version of a dark-gray/olive/brown carp native to east Asia (first domesticated in China) that was introduced to Europe in the late 17th century. The mutation that gave rise to the goldfish is also known from other cyprinid species, such as common carp and tench. Selective breeding over centuries has produced several color variations, some of them far removed from the "golden" color of the originally domesticated fish. There are also different body shapes, fin and eye configurations. Some extreme versions of the goldfish do need to be kept in an aquarium—they are much less hardy than varieties closer to the "wild" original. However, some variations are hardier, such as the Shubunkin. The main varieties are Common Goldfish, Black Moor, Bubble Eye, Celestial Eye Goldfish, Comet-Tailed Goldfish, Fantail, Lionhead, Oranda, Pearlscale, Pompoms, Ryukin, Shubunkins, Demekin, Ranchu, Panda Moor & Veiltail. Ours are somewhere between Common and Fantail -- with large "forked" tails, flowing fins and an array of various colors. Goldfish do a great job cleaning up a tank but they produce a high level of PH so you need either a really good filter and / or constant water changes -- especially if you're going to have these in a tank.
Convict Chichlids (Pond Sized)
The Convict cichlid (Amatitlania nigrofasciata) is a species of fish from the family Cichlidae, native to Central America, also known as the zebra cichlid. Convict cichlids are popular aquarium fish and have also been the subject of numerous studies on fish behaviour. In natural habitats, the species feeds on crustaceans, small fish, insects, various worms, plants and algae. In 2007, the species was moved from the genus Archocentrus to a new genus, Amatitlania based on a study of Archocentus species by Juan Schmitter-Soto. However, a 2008 study led by Oldrich Rican has suggested that all the species in Cryptoheros and Amatitlania, including Amatitlania nigrofasciata, should be moved into the genus Hypsophrys. A number of synonyms exist for this species including: Archocentrus nigrofasciatus, Cichlasoma nigrofasciatum, Cryptoheros nigrofasciatus and Heros nigrofasciatus. Convict cichlids are endemic to the lakes and streams of Central America. In particular, the species occurs along the eastern coast of Central America from Guatemala to Costa Rica, and on the western coas

A surrounding garden is key to a successful pond, though we do not limit our videos to the garden directly around the pond. We love gardening as much as we enjoy fish and ponds, so we take video of our garden in its entirety.
We recycle as much as possible. By this I do not mean pop cans and plastic bottles. We bury and / or burn yard waste (and bury the ashes in the garden). We also burn non-toxic paper junk mail and office shreddings, as well as the abundance of bush and tree branches.
We sprinkle grass clippings into our garden. We bury the leaves that drop in the fall so that the worms can turn them into new dirt. We bury the litter from the cat boxes so that the litter can store water as a temporary reservoir and the fecal mater can be processed by the worms into new fresh soil.
Also note: if you are going to bury anything like this, make sure the hole you dig is at least 2 feet deep! Also note that if you are going to burn anything -- make sure you have a legal, safe, contained fire pit and make sure you are burning only organic non-toxic wastes. Do not burn plastics, man made chemicals or anything dangerous.
Most people throw all of this natural waste away not realizing that it harms the Earth turning to methane in a land fill and that they sabotage their land by removing the nutrients from it!
Nature recycles the dead leaves, grass and other plant materials through the decomposition process to keep the land fertile and healthy. When you throw this stuff away, you are constantly removing fertility from the land and its not very smart!!!
