Fortify Quick Coat by Shine Armor // How to & Review // 100 rental cars
Today I'm trying out Shine Armor's Fortify Quick Coat. This is a waterless car wash product that was sent to me by the good people at Shine Armor.

I gotta be honest, I'm not much of a car wash guy. I mean, I'll wash my car when it's dirty, but I don't go out of my way to keep my car sparkling clean.

But, I've been wanting to do a review of my Prius C for a while now, so I thought this would be a nice way to prep my car for the review and try out something new.

How to Use the Product

First off, this is not something you want on your skin, so I recommend wearing gloves while you use this product. It smells like cherries by the way. Which is nice, because it does take a bit to apply.

The bottle comes with a spray nozzle insert that has a locking mechanism. And the clear tube that sucks up the liquid is super long...which makes install it a bit tricky, because it makes it hard to screw in the cap. BUT, it enables you to get every last ounce out of the bottle...which is fantastic. Because this product is $19.99 for 6.4 ounces, so it ain't cheap.

The application process is fairly simple. You spray a bit onto a slightly wet microfiber cloth, and then a little bit more directly onto your vehcile. Wipe with the wet cloth and then wipe away the product with a second dry microfiber cloth.

It's not a difficult process. But it does force you to switch hands often.

This works on ALL the services of your car, but I found it made the most difference on glass. Or maybe that's just because the windows of my car were really dirty. Either way, I experiences a noticeably shinier vehicle for almost a week after I applied the product. IT was nice, even my wife noticed how clean the Prius looked.

It did take almost the entire bottle for one wash of my small hatchback and I did NOT do the entire interior, just the steering wheel and driver's side interior door panel. So I think you'll probably need at least one 6.4 ounce bottle per applications.

Also, when you're done you need to wash your hands thorough. You do not want this stuff in your eyes in your body. There's no ingredient list on the packaging of this product, but I'm guessing it's not made of natural products.

All-in-all, it was a fun experience to try this out. I don't think I'll be using Shine Armor again, but that's me. I mean, the last car cleaning product I bought was years ago at a gas station when I spilled a drink in my wife's car.

Anyway, there's a link in the description if you'd like to check it out. And if you do, PLEASE let me know what you think in the comments below. Honestly, I'd love to hear your thoughts, especially if they're different from mine.

That's it for now. That you so much for watching. I'll be back with a full rental car review. I'll see y
