The reason was when - after Edward Snowden - Bolivian President Evo Morales' plane was grounded in the EU on behalf of the United States because Morales joked that he might grant Snowden asylum and take him with him from Moscow. ``If the power in the Netherlands lies in The Hague, then perhaps the way to make things better is through politics? '' I would try and so I became a politician in the 2017 House of Representatives elections: candidate # 3 and campaign leader for the Pirate Party. After those elections, I continued as an activist with "Real Fairytales". In music these are the reverse of fake news: the difficult themes in fun songs. In 2018 I became a journalist. Now I do interviews with specialists on all subjects from all over the world. What my guests share is a message of hope. I am writing a book about and with whistleblowers and live with my wife, our two children and the dog Sachi - in the Verzetwijk of Almere. About Willem Engel Willem Engel has made a scientific career as a Bio Pharmaceutical scientist after graduating from Leiden University in 2001. [1] In 2008 he left the world of science. Since then he has been teaching dance in his own studio DA Dance Studio in Rotterdam. Mr. Jeroen S. Pols graduated in 2003 with a specialization in criminal law. Since then he has mainly conducted administrative and civil proceedings. For the past 17 years, he has litigated against governments that are not so careful with laws and regulations. Former Mexican police officer and security specialist Ed Calderon discusses the drug war in México and how it's strategic location lends itself to continual interventions by the United States (e.g. Mexican presidents as CIA assets). He sees cartel power structures rising up in México and organizing themselves into federations, with some being funded by foreign governments (e.g. China, USA). He thinks America's influence is declining, especially in México, where China is making inroads (illegally mining iron ore). Lithium is playing an increasing factor. México has become a proxy battleground in the New Cold War. He doesn't think cartels will be classified as terrorists, though that's what they are by definition. We are living through one of the most violent presidencies. The true power in México is in the military, who runs policy at a deep level. He gives his thoughts on the culture war, expatriation, and how Americans are causing violence in México by bringing their drug habits with them. He gives his take on the Ukraine conflict and points out how during the first 72 hours of the Ukraine conflict, México still outperformed in terms of death.
