Super Bomberman 2 is not exactly a direct sequel to Super Bomberman, but it is certainly a continuation of the Bomberman series. This one introduces the concept of evil Bombermen, and as you can see, this concept will be played out a LOT in the future games. This particular group is the Dastardly Bombers and these guys are certainly quite the set. In their multi-part space station, they have decided to bring havoc upon Bomberman's planet and actually end up capturing our heroes. Little did they know that Bomberman is a professional demolitions expert, and no way was he going to go out without a bang or twenty! It's finally a charm to start this game and we'll be playing through the Normal Game and then finish things off with the Battle Game. Super Bomberman 2 is certainly a sequel that adds more than it takes away. The concept of enemy bombers will certainly be a cherished idea for Hudson Soft and these will definitely be the first of many. With this video, we'll be checking out Magnet Bomber's Polarity Plaza, a castle full of maze-like set-ups, treasure chests as far as the eye can see and... dynamite? Thanks to the help of some friendly Goombas and a lone Toad, not to mention the Star Spirits, Mario still lives, breathes and jumps! Problem with that is that Kammy is also aware of this and drops a big ol' block in our way! Like with all problems in RPGs, we'll need either someone or something to help us out here! Now, where is that Ham..? Huh, this may be unfortunate... For those wondering why I am not using the most recent version, which is supposedly v1.5.1, well... there's an issue with it. For some reason, there are parts where the game crashes (for example, trying to read your partners' letters for one and most notably, during the fight with General Guy). As a result, I went with a version that has given me no issues and has provided some officiality to the game itself. Also, this is the first video making use of hybrid commentary (live and post), that I've made and enjoyed putting together, excited for future videos of this and in general! --------README excerpt------- Often considered "The Dark Souls of Paper Mario", the mod is incredibly difficult. It was designed with elite challenge runners in mind, and unless you have extensive knowledge of Paper Mario, you may struggle with much of the content. For those players we offer **Paper Mario: Master Quest Jr** which has all of the content the original has, with a much more reasonable difficulty curve.
