Join Jay Dyer and I as we discuss theology and spirituality with Met. Jonah of ROCOR. In this interview, we cover the issues of being a Bishop in day to day life, Met. Jonah's own conversion from Protestantism, his time and experience in seminary, as well as the spiritual differences we find among modern Protestants and Roman Catholics. From there, we move on to discussing the need for repentance and not compromising the Gospel, as well as how to attain the mind of the fathers by imbibing Scripture.

Welcome to Fr. Deacon Dr. Ananias' Logic Course Series.
Lecture #2 of Fr. Deacon Dr. Ananias's Introduction to Logic course will begin on Tuesday 03/03/2020. This lecture will include sections 1.3 - 1.6 of Hurley's Chapter 1.We will continue our series of lectures, exploring and learning the basics of logic, how to identify and construct arguments, how to identify informal fallacies, etc. Lecture # 2 will be a 2 hour lecture with live chat with me on Tuesday for the premiere for your payment of $40.
With your payment and registration, you will get a free pdf. book of Hurley's Logic (if you do not have it from the first lecture), course notes, and slides. After payment (paypal.me/eriksorem1) or (look me up on paypal under esorem@apu.edu), you will be provided a link to the live course stream, the class materials, slides, pdf. book, etc. The lecture is recorded, so this will be made available for you to watch later at your convenience. If you have any questions, please send me a message at esorem9@hotmail.com (just don't use this email for paypal, since this is linked to an Irish Paypal account that I cannot access).
This will be a great class for those interested in apologetics, philosophy, how to debate, how to reason correctly and how to identify poor and fallacious arguments/reasoning.
I have designed the course to equip students with the necessary tools to reason accurately and analyze effectively. Our course will focus on an understanding of the relationship of language to logic, which should lead to the ability to identify and evaluate various inductive and deductive arguments. The course is also concerned that students become aware of semantic confusions and of the nature and importance of definitions. Students will gain the ability to distinguish fact from judgment, belief from knowledge and skills in inductive and deductive processes, including an understanding of formal and informal fallacies.
