Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series. My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I am am checking out a Demo for the Strategy game called Thrive: Heavy Lies The Crown. This game was created by small developer Zugalu Entertainment and Published by Playside Publishing. Playside is an Australian Games Publisher who also released Age Of Darkness, an excellent Real Time Strategy Game. Thrive is a City Builder set in a medieval age. The player will control one of several factions, growing them from a tiny settlement to a fully fledged Kingdom. In order to do this you will need to construct your village, manage your food and materials, create an economy through trade and diplomacy and research new technologies giving you an edge against rival factions. Your faithful advisors are always ready to offer advice but in the end the final decision rests with you. Will your civilization thrive, or will your people be lost to history.
