2019-10-31 Benefits of Cannabis- Interview with Dr. Frankel
• Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), while very similar to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC, the psychoactive part of marijuana), is not psychoactive, but can still induce a sense of “focused euphoria” • THCV appears to be particularly effective for depression, anxiety and pain conditions. THCV has also been shown to improve symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and prevent progression of the disease • A combination of THCA and CBD has been shown to reverse a majority of the symptoms associated with myasthenia gravis, a neuromuscular disorder that causes muscle weakness • Cannabis is nonaddictive. The U.S. federal government puts THC addiction at about 4%. CBD addiction is nonexistent • You can’t die from a cannabis overdose, as your brainstem, which controls your breathing and heart rate, has virtually no cannabinoid receptors
In this interview, Dr. Thomas Levy, a cardiologist widely known for his work with vitamin C, discusses his most recent book, “Magnesium: Reversing Disease.” In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, which was in full swing at the time of this interview, March 24, 2020, our discussion also includes some other strategies you can use to prevent and treat this and other respiratory illnesses.
• Your immune system is your primary defense against infectious disease, so one of the best things you can do is to educate yourself about how to do that. Vitamin C is one excellent option, as it stimulates and maximizes the potency of your immune system
• Magnesium is a natural calcium channel blocker, which makes it useful for a wide variety of scenarios involving oxidative stress
• Some forms of magnesium are antimicrobial too. Magnesium chloride appears to have the most potent antimicrobial effects, suppressing infection, while magnesium sulfate appears to be less effective
• If you're doing intravenous magnesium (for anything not related to viral infection), magnesium sulfate is ideal. If you're taking it orally, magnesium glycinate, magnesium threonate and magnesium gluconate are all good choices
In this interview, Ari Whitten, author of "The Ultimate Guide to Red Light Therapy," reviews the mechanics and basic benefits of red light and infrared light.
Whitten, who has a degree in kinesiology, exercise science and movement science, has studied natural health, fitness and nutrition for over 20 years. He's been a personal trainer, health coach and nutritionist for many years, and went on to do a Ph.D. program in clinical psychology.
• Red and near-infrared light are a subset of natural sunlight, which actually acts and has value as a nutrient
• Red light and near-infrared light therapies are ways to get some of the benefits of natural sunlight. These therapies may be particularly beneficial for people who aren’t getting enough natural sunlight exposure
• Cytochrome c oxidase, photo receptors on your mitochondria, capture photons of red and near-infrared light. The most effective wavelengths that activate this system are in the 600 to 700 nanometer and the 800 to 1,000 nanometer ranges. In response to light photons, your mitochondria will produce energy more efficiently
• Another mechanism of action is related to the benefits of hormesis and the transient spike in reactive oxygen species. That burst of reactive oxygen species creates a cascade of signaling effects that stimulate the NRF2 pathway and heat shock proteins
• A third mechanism of action involves retrograde signaling and the modulation of gene expression. Red and near-infrared light therapy activates genes involved in cell repair, cell regeneration and cellular growth, depending on the tissue
Grounding is the practice of walking barefoot in nature, allowing you to absorb planet Earth's energy to optimize your well-being. Here are some amazing ways this practice can benefit your health.

In this interview, investigative journalist Whitney Webb discusses her book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein.” The book is so long, it was cut into two volumes. Volume 1 alone is 544 pages, but it’s a fascinating read and incredibly well-referenced.
Whitney Webb’s book, “One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein,” provides the framework to understand not just the role and function of Epstein, but also, more broadly, the mess we’re now finding ourselves in.
Around the time of World War II, the intelligence community in the United States formalized its cooperation with organized crime syndicates in what was known as Operation Underworld, and the web of corruption grew from there.
Sexual blackmail was used by organized crime before U.S. intelligence even existed. As criminal factions and intelligence agencies developed a symbiotic relationship, blackmail became a tool to achieve their individual ends.
While it may appear as though organized crime is being combated, this is rarely ever the case. Stories of cracking down on organized crime are cover stories to hide what’s really happening, which is the consolidation of organized crime territory.
The incentive behind all this criminal activity is not merely the hoarding of money to live in the lap of luxury. It's about power and control over others. The good news is we can pull the plug on their plans.
