V6 Mustang - Let's Fix It Anyway! Part 23 Sound Conditioning II
In a previous installment I replaced the 20 year old radio that was in the car with a newer, but junky one I had around the house. That thing ended up being too junky so I got a Sony with modern features to replace it a 2nd time.
Also time for some new speakers in the back, reusing the Mach 460 speaker enclosure. These are powered from the same Sony head unit as the front speakers, nothing fancy but I also installed a little Noico sound deadener.

I was curious if a change in intake manifold would produce a change in exhaust tone so I recorded before-and-after.
This is on a 1994 Mustang GT with stock E7TE heads and cam, Scorpion roller rockers, stock exhaust manifolds, BBK catted 2.5" midpipe ( X pipe ), Flowmaster American Thunder 2.5" cat back. First with the stock 1994 5.0HO intake manifold, then with the stock 1994 Cobra upper and lower manifold.
