Attack and Armor Types: DotA 2's Most Well-Hidden Mechanic
Anyone who's played DotA 2 for a while has probably noticed some strange behaviour: Catapults die very quickly to towers and rival catapults, but slowly to everything else. Ranged creeps do a lot of damage to other creeps, but not to heroes. Lone Druid's Spirit Bear destroys buildings, but struggles to kill heroes.

All these phenomena are due to DotA 2's attack and armor types, an obscure but very important mechanic, which will be discussed in this video.
