this lower got the same concept of using a metal rod with a OD of 4mm and 26mm long as with the FGC9 SD, and I have seen if done before by others. it’s fair to say that it would limit the potential of that part to break.
the MKIISD version will hide the metal pin and makes it look like a stock MKII
but with this design you can hide the metal part. it’s up to you if you like that look better or not.

here do I talk a bit what I have in mind for the Mind for the MAGFED FOR ALL Project. if you got a beter name for this maker please let me know haha MF FAP doesn’t sound that great haha.
I have a interesting concept in idea in mind. I have made quite some paintball part over te time. what if it was all placed into 1 thing a open Marker project that is "fully" 3d printed based on some basic tippmann parts to start out with. that haves option to use T15 mags, Tipx, TMC, helix, haves a lokbot option. can use Tippmann stocks and shrouds from the t98, a5 x7's and is open to use some custom 3d designed ones as well. does that sounds cool? do keep in mind you still need to think about 2 or 3 rolles of 3d filament to make one at least if you use a lot of 3d printed parts like the shroud and buttstock. so it's not exactly a free maker... but it does open it up for anyone to play magfed. or at least make one from basic tippmann parts. and customise it with STEP files. so what do you think?
this of course will be a big project! with a lot of big parts to be printed and prototyped. so some donations for this project would be more and welcome other wise it will not happend anytime soon. but im more than confident enough that I can pull it off. if a thing like a FGC-9 or WTF-9 can be made that shoots 9mm rounds than well lets say making a paintball maker should not be that hard haha.
then some would say, why do make this thing and ask nothing for it. you should put up for sale. well I think that there is no marked for that.. it would take quite some time and material to print. and can that compete to a mass produced one in price realistically? I don't really see people pay for that.
but the idea is that anyone could make is even at places were regular magfed may look to "real" for there laws. so I do think about making one in a more nerf like design or at least less "real" than you could play with out worrying about bull crap laws preventing you playing the game of magfed.
and besides that is opens a whole new world up for customisation and personalisation

TURN ON: Print Tiny walls! I did my best, but it was really time consuming to make it totally solid in the inside... so some walls are tiny depending on the scale you make it in. so check your preview fist in you slicer, Before printing!
I have made a 1/6 scale these can be used for like those action figures that use the 1/6 scale weapons.
wall thickness 4, infill 20% should be more than enough. but use your own judgment on it
for the promoting the FGC9 it would be nice so see some fun time laps movies of this. or some crazy colours! be creative with it. or use the 1/6 action figures.
put it out there.

FGC9-MKI-and-MKII-M5-lowers
these lowers will use a M5 bolt that is 25mm long with 1 M5 washer and the M6 lock washer
so the lower got a bit more material so it should be stronger. does this mean that you ned to modified the pistol grips. no. you can still use the same models I have used a small spacer piece around my M5 bolt but it's something that might not be needed at all really.
