Pokémon Silver Version (Korean) - Gym Leader Clair
After defeating Team Rocket at the Radio Tower, go to Blackthorn City and enter the gym. This gym has boulders that can be pushed from the 2F and down into the pools of lava. Once the boulders are all down, you can cross to battle the gym leader. Clair uses Dragon type Pokémon. Dragonair will use Thunder Wave to paralyze opponents. One knows Surf, the 2nd one knows Thunderbolt, and the 3rd one knows Ice Beam. Kingdra will be the hard part as it will use Smokescreen to lower the target’s Accuracy. Since Kingdra is Water/Dragon type, only Dragon type moves have an advantage against it. After the battle, Clair won’t offer anything yet. She will tell you about the Dragon’s Den that you will enter next to find the Dragon Fang. Enter the Dragon’s Den and once you find the Dragon Fang, Clair will step in to give you the Rising Badge and a TM24 (Dragonbreath). Dragonbreath has a 30% chance of paralyzing the target. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avZN-taRDmA

You’ll see some Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos, and sparks as you move along. After a body of water, go through the door and cross some star blocks with Gordos incoming. Go through the next door and ascend by star blocks. Swallow a big rabbit for the throw ability and break a big star block to reveal a door. In a secret room with switches, press the left switch to lower the first chest in the middle. Swim your way through bodies of water and watch for ninjas in fake weights. After some seed bombs and Gordos, currents will form in the water. Go through the next door and you’ll see a golden Waddle Dee. In a path with green slimes, defeat the Waddle Dee before it falls through the hole for the 2nd chest. In a maze full of star blocks, grab the big chest and Storo will appear. Make your way through the blocks and go to the goal. The next 3 treasures are the Emerald Spray Paint, a Secret Map Piece, and a Ghost Medal Piece.

Enter the Animal Barrel for Squitter and make web platforms to get the “K” letter. After some Bristles, pass a yield sign and a target lock will follow you. When the target lock charges up, it will shoot a fireball. Make web platforms to ascend and cross hot ooze pits. Go by 2 Bristles and ascend by a small opening above to find a B Barrel. The first bonus area has green bananas appearing. Collect 15 bananas within 35 seconds for a B Coin. Back in the main area, pass by 2 Re-Koils and ascend by bananas. Cross hot ooze pits by red Buzz bees and you’ll find the “O” letter over some pits. The Star Barrel is behind a wall shield that protects against fireballs. Continue to make webs and ascend by Buzz bees. Turn left and you’ll find the “N” letter by a moving red Buzz. Defeat 3 Re-Koils and cross some more pits of hazards. Ascend and make webs by the left wall with a red Buzz to find another B Barrel. In the 2nd bonus area, you’ll be controlling the target lock. Shoot down every Re-Koil and Buzz bee within 45 seconds for a B Coin. Back in the main area, ascend and turn left to find the “G” letter behind the shield. Cross some more hot ooze pits with bees moving and pass the sign so the target stops following you. Pass the no-animal sign for an iron keg and use it to backstab Koin for the DK Coin. Continue ahead and you’ll find the goal.

On Mondays, you’ll see a Jellicent in the water just south of the shore at the Undella Bay. Use Surf and save your game. Magnezone will use Magnet Rise to make Ground type move useless for 5 turns and Mirror Shot to make opponents less accurate. Gardevoir will use Imprison to prevent opponents from using moves it knows and Psychic for a big attack. After the battle, the interviewers will allow you to say something and will show it on TV.

To get Celebi in this game, you must obtain the GS Ball from a certain event. Take the GS Ball to Kurt in Azalea Town and he will examine it. Once he goes outside from his house, he will give you back the GS Ball. With the GS Ball examined, go to the Ilex Forest using the gate from Azalea Town. If you try to enter the forest from the gate on Route 34, the lady will tell you what’s going on and won’t let you go in. After using Cut to remove a tree, you’ll see the shrine in the forest. Save your game before you interact with the shrine. Insert the GS Ball into the shrine and Celebi will appear. Celebi is on Level 30. When it uses Ancientpower, its stats can raise 10% of the time the move strikes. When it uses Safeguard, status problems cannot be placed on it or its teammates for 5 turns. Even so, it will use a Miracleberry when afflicted with a status problem for the first time. If you still have some Ultra Balls, use them wisely.

After a 20-win streak at the Battle Arcade, you’ll battle Dahlia. The Battle Arcade uses a roulette that causes things to change the flow of battle. In the battle, Dusknoir will use Trick Room to make slower Pokémon go first in 5 turns then use Will-O-Wisp to burn targets. Medicham will use Endure to prevent itself from fainting and Reversal for more damage when low on HP. Ludicolo shouldn’t be too hard to handle since it’s not skilled in physical attacks. After winning, you’ll receive the Silver Print and 20 BP.
