I immediately thought that the idea was fantastic and I started writing my own version.
I did my best to keep most of the character and the original left hand patterns used by Chopin in its Revolutionary Etude (Op. 10 No. 12), a majestic and well known etude for the left hand.
I preferred to slow down the tempo from 160 to 150 bpm and in the lyrical section (bars 28-35) I slowed it down further.
I refrained from the temptation to add octave patterns in the left hand to make it more powerful because I wanted to remain as close as possible to the style of the Chopin Revolutionary Etude.
