Doas - The Better Less Bloated Alternative to Sudo In this video I discuss the Doas command, it originated on BSD but has since been ported to several linux repositories (Arch AUR, the Gentoo ebuild repository, Hyperbola core etc...) Doas is simpler more "suckless" version of sudo that really only does what %99 of Linux desktop users need sudo to do which is run a command as root to install software or edit system files.
