Previously, Heorot trained in the Rolanberry Fields and reached Level 32 as a Red Mage. Now, he will take his training to desolate Qufim Island.
Rolanberry Fields:
Heorot resumes near the Survival Guide in the lovely Rolanberry Fields. He uses the Survival Guide at G-6 to teleport to Ru'Lude Gardens in Jeuno.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 0:59):
In the Ru'Lude Gardens in Jeuno, Heorot talks to the Artisan Moogle at I-9. Artisan Moogles are also in the starting cities, such as in Bastok Markets in Bastok. Heorot spends 9980 gil for a wonderful Mog Sack. The Mog Sack essentially adds 30 slots of portable inventory. The convenience clearly justifies the expense. Better yet, when Heorot carries out the Gobbiebag quests to increase his personal inventory, he will also be able to upgrade the Mog Sack. The Mog Sack can be accessed under View House, then Mog Sack.
Once a day, a player can receive a Scroll of Instant Warp for buying or attempting to buy a Mog Sack. This is a single-use item that teleports the player to his or her current home point.
Then, Heorot heads to his Mog House once he figures out how. There is an Elevator Button at the doorway.
Mog House (time 5:27):
At home, Heorot manages his inventory and checks his delivery box. He earns some gil for his Water Clusters. Not bad.
Heorot heads back outside.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 6:34):
Heorot teleports to Lower Jeuno.
Lower Jeuno (time 6:56):
In the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Heorot visits the map merchant, Promurouve at H-7. He picks up a Map of Qufim Island for 3,000 gil.
Heorot also visits a shop to sell off some duplicate equipment.
Then, he teleports to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 10:38):
When Heorot enters Port Jeuno, a cutscene takes place. Heorot meets a character named Joachim. This starts the Abyssea quest "A Journey Begins". It took me a while to find this in the quest log. Getting this quest requires picking an Abyssea expansion and reaching Level 30 in a job.
After setting a Port Jeuno Home Point as his current home point, Heorot heads downstairs to the north and takes the exit to Qufim Island in the Qufim region at E-6/F-6.
Qufim: Qufim Island (time 15:33):
After traversing a long tunnel, Heorot emerges in Qufim Island. What a nasty, barren place. However, it does not quite live up to my terrible memories. Maybe that's because I'm not coming here at a level where everything can murder you in one hit. Even so, there are many aggressive monsters here, including the worms.

Previously, after concluding Izayoi's Mission, we did most of Tsukinowa's Mission. After gathering information in Mysidia, he tailed Porom up Mount Ordeals. Now, we will wrap up his mission and then move on to Zangetu's Mission.
Overworld:
Tsukinowa resumes outside of mystic Mysidia. Before entering the Western Cape, he unequips all his gear.
Western Cape (time 0:28):
A scene takes place on the Western Cape. Tsukinowa has an interesting means of returning to Eblan! Afterwards, we start Zangetsu's Mission.
Dwarven Castle (time 1:36):
Zangetsu's Mission opens on the first floor of the Dwarven Castle. His performance as a dwarf is unconvincing!
We gain control of Zangetsu on floor 1F of the Dwarven Castle. He starts at Level 9 with a Kodachi, a Leather Cap, Foot Ninja Gear, and Iron Gloves. He has the Ninjutsu ability Shock. He equips the Metal Boomerang and Edge's gear.
Zangetsu begins, naturally, by exploring the Dwarven Castle.
At the Sundries shop on floor 2F west, he picks up some Potions and other consumables.
On floor 1F of the West Tower, the chest in the northeast contains a Shuriken. The upper levels of the West Tower are inaccessible.
On floor 1F of the East Tower, the chest in the northwest contains a Potion. The upper levels of the East Tower are also inaccessible.
On floor 2F east in the main keep, Zangetsu picks up a Javelin. He is kind of a weird Ninja Dragoon.
At the Lali-ho Pub, there is a convenient save point.
On floor B1, a pot in the northeast contains an Emergency Exit. The tunnel to the Dwarven Base is inaccessible.
After saving in the pub, Zangetsu heads up to the battlements. A scene takes place when he climbs to the top level. He leaves ... immediately!
Dwarven Mine (time 16:56):
Zangetsu lands unceremoniously at the Entrance to the Dwarven Mine. He plans to go through the mine to the Overworld. Now where was this route in the original game??
We gain control of Zangetsu in the Dwarven Mine Path. He starts in the north-middle part of the area. Namingway is close at hand with weapons, armor, and sundries, so Zangetu picks up some things. There are also a nearby healing pot and save point, so he takes advantage of them.
Zangetsu reaches Level 10.
Across the bridge to the west, a chest contains a Potion.
Down the next stairway, a chest contains a Zeus's Wrath.
Zangetsu reaches Level 11 and learns the Ninjutsu ability Flash.
In the east of the northwestern part of the area, a chest contains a Shinobi Gear.

Now, before Psaro heads to the next circle of Nadiria, he will seek treasures, grind, and scout monsters in the Plains and in the Circle of Conquest, Lower Echelon.

Previously, Davilas wrapped up the Version 5.4 storyline. With Mariin's help, he finally put an end to the Evil God Pyuju atop the Lufa Tower. In the scenes afterward, Irusha revived the goddess Rutiana. Unfortunately, Narajia also revived the evil god Jagonuba, and the divine brawl ended poorly for Rutiana. Davilas found himself back in the Great Demon King's Castle after the events. Now, he will start the Version 5.5 storyline by visiting Carlo in the Great Demon King's Castle.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyer! He also gets some voicemail from Anlucia and Hyuuza with gifts to celebrate Dragon Quest X's 10-year anniversary. Clever.
Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to the west wing of the Great Demon King's Castle.
Great Demon King's Castle (time 3:52):
At the pub, Davilas changes his vocation to Level 123 Minstrel. He withdraws some money from the bank. At the bazaar, he picks up a Level 115 headgear, a Holy Wing Hair Ornament +3 (聖翼の髪飾り+3). When he has finished, he deposits his leftover gold in the bank.
Then, Davilas goes to the throne room. At D-2, he talks to Carlo. This triggers a scene with Carlo, Yushka, Valeria, and Asbar. The Elf goddess Eldona speaks to Davilas. Davilas's next objective is to return to Astoltia with Yushka.
Davilas regains control in the throne room after the scene. Carlo at D-2 has story information.
Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to return to Astoltia.
New Eteene Village (time 16:26):
As Davilas arrives in New Eteene Village, a long cutscene sequence with Yushka, Hana, and Shini takes place.
After the scenes, Davilas gains control at F-2 in his house. The next objective is to talk to Shini.
In the village square, Davilas talks to Shini at F-4. This triggers some dialogue. Davilas's next destination is World Tree Hill in Kuon Forest east of Tsusukuru Village.
After the dialogue, Shini has story information.
Davilas Zooms to Tsusukuru Village.
Tsusukuru Village (time 28:06):
Just inside town, Ifuka at E-7 has story information.
Davilas exits south at E-7 to the Tsusukuru Plain.
Tsusukuru Plain (time 28:59):
Davilas starts at E-5.
At H-3 in the northeast, he exits east to Kuon Forest.
Kuon Forest (time 30:56):
Davilas starts at A-3 in the northwest.
At E-3, he talks to Ikoko for some dialogue. He agrees to go to World Tree Hill. There, a long cutscene with Lady Himea and Yushka takes place. Davilas receives the World Tree Flower (世界樹の花) key item. His next destination is the cathedral in Finetka.
After the scenes, Davilas regains control at E-3 in Kuon Forest. Ikoko has story information.

Finetka, the Town of Light (time 45:24):
Lewin at F-6 has story information.
Davilas talks to Sister Madel at F-4 to set his respawn point to Finetka.
At E-3, he enters the cathedral. At C-3 in the cathedral, he talks to the Sacred Light Lord (聖光教主), the giant Pukuripo. This triggers some dialogue. Davilas's next objective is outside in the northwest corner of town.
After the event, the Sacred Light Lord has story information.
Davilas goes outside and heads for the northwest part of town. At B-3, Liorel has additional story info.
As Davilas approaches the northwestern end of town, a scene with the Sacred Light Lord takes place at B-3. A teleportal of light appears. Davilas's next objective is to take this new teleportal.
Liorel at B-3 has story information.
Davilas examines the new teleportal at A-3. He and Yushka enter the whirlpool of light. A scene takes place as they arrive in a colorless place. Sadly, there is a nasty to take care of. Clearly, Jagonuba does not want Rutiana revived.
After the scene, it is boss time against the Evil God Vanitatos (邪神ヴァニタトス). Yushka helps as a guest against this skeletal dragon. Vanitatos can spew dark breath that reduces physical defence and breath attack resistance. It can also suck in a party member and spit them out for high damage. Mildly annoying boss. It seems resistant to Blunt and Sap. Yushka's support was quite helpful.
Another scene takes place after the battle. Davilas's next objective is to return to the Great Demon King's Castle.

Previously, the party wrapped up the main storyline in Orfea. They explored the Muruel Forest west of Orfea and helped Nabret defeat the Demon Zaigas. Then, they met Nabret at Silver Hill, where he released Orfea's children. The storyline concluded with a scene at the Circus Tent in Orfea, where Heorot earned the White Key Emblem. No new party members, but that's okay. Now, the party will start the main storyline in Azlan on Eltona, the Elf continent.
The party resumes in the church in Orfea. They go to the train station and take the train to Azlan, the town of wind.
Azlan (time 2:08):
The party arrives in Azlan's train station. Azlan is added to the Zoom Stone as a destination.
In the northeast of the station, a red chest at F-1 contains a Gold Nuglet.
The party exits the station and begins exploring the town. I notice the Dharma Priests are now marked on the map. I wonder if they are now available for the player to change vocations.
At the southwest corner of the post office's exterior, a barrel at F-7 contains 18 gold. In a nearby house to the west at F-7, a wardrobe contains a Medicinal Herb.
Houkou near this house has story info.
Behind a house just east of the inn, barrels at G-6 contain a Single Phial and Mini Medal #019.
In the inn, a wardrobe in the southern bedroom contains a Saffron Robe Bottom. A wardrobe in the northern bedroom contains a Medicinal Herb.
There are bookshelves in the inn with info about Azlan and Eltona.
The party approaches an Ogre Warrior named Gunza north of the inn for a cutscene. The next objective is to visit Lord Taketora in the large mansion in the west of town.
After this scene, Gunza has story info. So does Kayanu by the town entrance.
In the cave at F-6, a red chest contains a Supple Branch.
In the bank, a bookshelf contains information about Kilika, the region east of the Azlan Region.
In the pub, the party goes downstairs to the Monster Bar. A barrel at F-1/F-2 contains Mini Medal #020. A pot at F-2 contains a Single Phial. The neighboring barrel contains a Medicinal Herb.
The party goes down the well at D-4 just northwest of the weapons shop. They find sparkly spots that yield Amor Seco Essence and Fresh Water.
At the weapons shop, the party picks up a couple of Level 19 recipe books. At the armor shop, they pick up a couple of Level 21 recipe books. They will pick up the others soon enough.
In the bazaar, there is a book about the Kamushka, the local deer. The bazaar has a recipe available.
In the house at D-6 west of the bazaar, a wardrobe contains a Kusushi Robe Bottom.
The party goes to the bank and withdraws some money. Then, they pick up the remaining Level 21 and Level 25 recipe books at the armor shop. Also, at the bazaar, they pick up the Level 23 recipe book for the Sizeable Scissors greatsword.
At the shed below the Lord's Mansion, barrels at B-5 contain a Single Phial and Mini Medal #021.
The party takes the door at C-5 into the Lord's Mansion. A pot in the north of the hallway contains a Medicinal Herb. In the northeast room, a chest contains an Yggdrasil Leaf. Lovely! In the southeast room, a wardrobe contains a Tombola Ticket.
The party talks to Lord Taketora in the southeast room for a cutscene with him and his daughter, Fura. If you start as an Elf, Fura is actually introduced in the starting Elf town, Tsusukuru. Regardless, the next destination is Fura's room across the hall.
After the scene, Taketora has story info. So does Kayanu at the entrance to town.
In the Lord's Mansion, the party examines the door to Fura's room in the southwest. This triggers a scene with Sonne, a servant. The next objective is to meet Fura at her mother's grave at the Cape of Howling Wind north of town.
After the scene, Sonne in the kitchen has story information. So does Kayanu at the entrance to town.
The party goes out the town's main entrance at H-5 to the Azlan Region.

Previously, we began Palom's Tale. Mysidia's ever-humble genius Black Mage has sailed to Troia. After exploring the town, he went to the castle, where he met his trainee, an Epopt apprentice named Leonora. Palom and Leonora must now climb the Tower of Trials, a new location in the south of the Troia region.
Overworld:
The party resumes on the Overworld outside of Troia. They head north to the Chocobo Village.
Chocobo Village (time 0:24):
They mount a Yellow Chocobo.
Overworld (time 0:32):
Mounted, the party can ford the rivers south of Troia and reach the Tower of Trials on the southern peninsula.
Tower of Trials (time 0:58):
A scene takes place at the exterior of the Tower of Trials. Leonora must find the Monastic Seal at the top if she is to become an Epopt. She opens the front door.
The party regains control at the tower's exterior. There is nothing to find, so they go inside.
A scene takes place on floor 1F. Palom teaches Leonora how to cast Fire. In a practice battle, Leonora learns the Black Magic spell "Fire?". She must cast it on the Fire Doll that Palom has conjured. The scene continues after the practice battle.
After the scene, we gain control of the party on 1F. Just west of the entrance, a chest contains an Ether.
As they traverse the western halls on 1F, a scene takes place. Palom pits Leonora solo against a Mini Red. When she has defeated it, she learns the Black Magic spell Fire. The scene continues after the battle.
Another brief scene takes place when they continue on. Palom introduces Leonora to healing pots. Thankfully, these pots are scattered around the tower.
In the southwestern dead end, chests contain a Gold Needle and Echo Herbs.
Leonora reaches Level 11 and learns the White Magic spell Hold. I find Hold useful against certain stronger enemies in this chapter. Palom reaches Level 16.
The party takes the western stairway up to floor 2F.
Leonora reaches Level 12 and learns the White Magic spell Cura.
In the north of 2F, the party saves at the save point.
In the center, there are two chests in a dead end to the east. These chests contain a Phoenix Down and Echo Herbs.
Leonora reaches Level 13 and learns the White Magic spell Slow. Palom reaches Level 17.
As the party approaches the stairway in the middle of the area, another scene takes place. This time, Leonora alone must confront three Mini Reds. Fire on all enemies should win the battle easily.

Previously, Heorot did some leveling as Black Mage in Fei'Yin and reached Level 97. In this video, he will go to Fei'Yin for more grinding as Black Mage.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he receives gil for two stacks of Wind Crystals, two stacks of Lightning Crystals, and two chunks of Beitetsu that sold at auction. Many thanks to the buyers!

Bastok Mines (time 1:16):
Heorot teleports to Home Point #1 in Fei'Yin, Fauregandi.
Fei'Yin (time 1:41):
Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at K-8 on the upper floor of Fei'Yin. He summons his Trust NPCs.
In the northeast of Fei'Yin, Heorot hunts Balayang bats. While they are Level 95+, they are not aggressive and do not link.
In the course of grinding, Heorot reaches Black Mage Level 98.
When Heorot has finished grinding for now, he uses Home Point #1 at K-8 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 56:43):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.
Bastok Markets (time 58:27):
Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Voucher to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11.
Then, Heorot teleports to Bastok Mines.

Previously, Heorot continued grinding in Escha - Ru'Aun. He has earned a total of 152 Job Points as Red Mage. In this video, he will do some more Job Point grinding as Red Mage in Escha - Ru'Aun.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a couple Merit Point upgrades.
Then, he heads out to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:22):
Heorot teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:44):
Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence at G-5 to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.
Escha - Ru'Aun (time 2:22):
Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he hunts some more Eschan Il'aern in this zone.
Heorot accrues 1 Job Point for an overall total of 153 Job Points earned. He has a current total of 3 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 57:45):
Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 at G-5 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 58:21):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.
Bastok Markets (time 1:00:06):
Heorot trades his Copper A.M.A.N. Vouchers to Isakoth at E-11. In Mjoll's Goods, he sells his loot to Olwyn at E-11.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines.

At the auction house, Heorot stops sale on a Pluton and then puts a chunk of Eschite Ore up for sale. Afterwards, he enters the residential area.

Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he receives gil for three Plutons that sold at auction. Thank you to the buyer(s)!
Then, Heorot heads out to Bastok Mines.

Previously, Link defeated eight consecutive bosses in the Thunder Dragon's Lightning Round and earned the unbreakable Hylian Shield. He also took care of some upgrades. Now, he will explore the game's final dungeon, the Sky Keep underneath the Statue of the Goddess on Skyloft.
Skyloft:
Link resumes near the Plaza on Skyloft. In the northeast, he uses the floating Clawshot targets and enters the Sky Keep. A brief scene takes place as he goes inside.
Sky Keep (time 2:17):
A brief scene takes place as Link enters the Sky Keep. Just ahead in the first room, a chest contains the Dungeon Map. It shows eight rooms and an empty slot in a 3x3 grid. The door to the east opens. Fi pops out to give Link some information. She has marked three sources of power with a triangle system on the map.
To the east, Link finds a control panel that reconfigures the dungeon's rooms. There are other control panels elsewhere. Link moves the east-central room to the southeast corner and the central room to the east. Fi gives a report.
After saving, Link goes east to the second room. This room is Skyview Temple-themed. He first goes south past a couple of Deku Babas and a Quadro Baba. In the southwest corner, he sends the Beetle east across the pit to let a rope down. With the Whip, he swings across to the rope and then across to the southeastern ledge. A Skulltula will drop down here.
There is a Furnix over the gap to the north, so Link shoots it with an arrow. With the Clawshots, he grapples to the rotating cylinders and reaches a ledge on the western side of the hall. There are Pyrups that are guarding a swinging rope. Link uses the Beetle to grab a Bomb on one of the rotating cylinders and blow up the Pyrups. Link swings across the rope to the platforms. Then, he uses the Gust Bellows to make the platforms move.
Link reaches the northern ledge. In the west, a switch opens a shortcut. Most rooms have shortcuts like this. There are also Blessed Butterflies marking where Link can reveal a Goddess Wall.
Link goes north to the third room, themed after the Lanayru Mining Facility. He uses the convenient Bird Statue to save. In the southwest corner of the room, he finds a Timeshift Orb to take through this room. It revives a couple of Technoblins in the southern corridor.
When Link turns north into the eastern corridor, he encounters a Sentrobe. Up the ladder, he pulls a switch to open a gate below. He carries the Timeshift Orb past the gate. While standing on the red pressure plate, he throws the Timeshift Orb forward on
