Do you remember in summer back in 1978? When they reckoned that the skinheads' days were numbered And the papers dripped with liquid hate Being patriotic's not the fashion so they say To fly your country's flag's a crime Society tried its best to kill you But the spirit lives until the end of time
(chorus) Back with a bang, now! Back with the gang, now! Back with a bang, now! Back with gang, now! 2 - 3 - 4!
Reckoned every skinhead was a bad man Enough to make an honest man be sick And they filled the papers with this rubbish every day Never missed a dirty little trick, what did I say...

(chorus)
And still today they keep on lying Four years on and they still ain't learned That the skinhead way of life is getting stronger every day And we are never gonna turn

Blink and you might miss it but this clip of top Japanese rock band Kishidan shows the drummer (白鳥 雪之丞, Shiratori Yukinojō, Yukki) ) with an "interesting" haircut at several points in the video. I guess this is one reason he was subsequently put on permanent suspension on "health grounds." At the time, though, nobody seemed to think there was anything wrong with it.

Dude, this doesn't belong to us. It belongs to Megadeth. But you knew that anyway.
On September 22, 1985, The Smiths played the Irvine Magnum in Ayrshire, Scotland, a rather out-of-the-way venue. With the pressure off they debuted five new songs live. These were "What's The World (James)," "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side," "Frankly, Mr Shankly," "Bigmouth Strikes Again," and "Stretch Out and Wait."
Three of these ("The Boy With The Thorn In His Side," "Frankly, Mr Shankly," and "Bigmouth Strikes Again") would appear on their next album "The Queen is Dead."
"Stretch Out and Wait" would be the B-side of single "Shakespeare's Sister" and "What's The World (James)" would not be recorded.
