Heading east on Grand Street I notice several new businesses. If we could flash back to the 1980's this was a very different area. Usually would be in the news for murders and drugs. This used to be a poor man's neighborhood. Now I see people who would have had a lot of trepidation to even walk through this area nonetheless live there.
There is a clothing store here named Supreme located at 152 Grand St. Apparently if you want to shop there you have to call the store first then they will send you a text with your number on line. In the video we see a long line of men standing there waiting to go inside the store. There is also security. I will post a couple links: https://kulturehub.com/supreme-store-brooklyn/

As we walk farther south we can see this area is a mixture of commercial businesses and residential businesses. Pass two tire shops on the left.

Doctors who treated a man hospitalized with seizures, disorientation, and strange behavior said tapeworms had been living in his brain for years undetected, according to a case study published Thursday in The New England Journal of Medicine.
The 38-year-old man appeared to be in perfect health until one night when his wife awoke to find him on the floor, shaking and "speaking gibberish," according to the case report.
He was hospitalized, and doctors treated him for a seizure, noting that he was unresponsive to questions and seemed to be involuntarily gazing at the ceiling.

"An Alaska woman showed the city slickers how it’s done in Brooklyn on Friday evening, May 27, when she grabbed an opossum by the scruff of its neck and calmly removed if from Temkin’s Bar, much to the delight of impressed patrons."

"“They’re vomiting. Their bodies are shutting down,” said Dave Reeves, president of Local 767, a Texas local of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, which represents 350,000 UPS workers across the country. “It’s awful.”
Government records show that the problem is not isolated: Since 2015, at least 270 UPS and U.S. Postal Service drivers have been sickened and in many cases hospitalized from heat exposure. Dozens of workers for other delivery companies, including FedEx, have also suffered from heat exhaustion, according to the records, and a handful of drivers have also died in the past few years. According to the Teamsters, heat-related injuries, illnesses and deaths among drivers are severely underreported."

In this video I got off in Innsbruck and took a walk around before getting back to catch the train to Zurich. I remember stopping at the post office and buying a stamp to post a postcard to the U.S. Back in those days Austria used shillings. Now most of these countries use the euro currency.
This video was taken on July 18, 1991.

"Chinatown restaurant and home-aid workers gathered outside Assemblywoman Yuh-Line Niou’s office Wednesday, chanting “Yuh-Line Niou, Shame On You!” and calling on the woke Democrat to drop her bid in the crowded 10th Congressional District race.
The immigrant workers say Niou (D-Lower Manhattan), who has billed herself as a champion of the working class, is a “fake progressive” who sides with exploitative “sweatshop bosses” over community members.
“I am standing out against Yuh-Line for selling out workers, for having the gall to then run for Congress,” Vincent Cao, a former employee at the now-shuttered eatery Joy Luck Palace,"

"The young mom who was shot and killed while pushing her 3-month-old baby in a stroller on the Upper East Side was a domestic violence victim — and cops are looking to speak with the child’s father in connection with the slaying, family and law enforcement sources said Thursday.
The victim, identified by her mother as 20-year-old Azsia Johnson, texted relatives that she had been planning on meeting her infant’s dad on Wednesday night, according to the sources.
“She was targeted. It was a close head shot and there were powder burns,” a high-ranking police source said.
Johnson had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend in Jamaica, Queens, about six months ago while six months pregnant with his child, her heartbroken mom, Lisa Desort, told The Post. "

"Castle Rock v. Gonzales, 545 U.S. 748 (2005), is a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court ruled, 7–2, that a town and its police department could not be sued under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 for failing to enforce a restraining order, which had led to the murder of a woman's three children by her estranged husband.[1]"
