Paris, son of Priam and favourite of the goddess Aphrodite, is remembered for instigating the Trojan War by stealing beautiful Helen away from the Spartan king Menelaus and marrying her himself. Despite this act of romantic hubris, the prince, much like his elder brother Hector, was a skilled warrior and clever military commander who was willing to sacrifice his life in service to his people. His new wife accompanied him wherever he went, supporting the efforts of her beloved husband at every opportunity. Paris, like much of the Trojan nobility, learned to use a bow and lead his men from early childhood. On the battlefield he preferred to keep his distance, firing deadly arrows from afar. According to Paris brought down Achilles by mortally wounding him in the heel – the warrior’s only area of vulnerability.
Like Hector, Paris is a prince of Troy – one who was lost as a child and returned to regain his heritage later. Paris competes for the succession of the Trojan throne as part of the “Priam’s heir” faction mechanic shared between the two princes. Immortal Empires is the title for a campaign that will be added to Total War: Warhammer III on 23 August 2022, The campaign will combine all playable content from all 3 games in the Total War: Warhammer series, so that players can play with all playable races, factions, lords, and units from Total War: Warhammer, Total War: Warhammer II and Total War: Warhammer III. This works similarly to Mortal Empires in Total War: Warhammer II, which combines content from both the first and second games.
Sea Lanes s the world map of Immortal Empires is extremely huge, there are several points where Lords and Heroes can be sent. These lead to Sea Lanes, allowing characters to travel between the east and west ends of the map. New dynamic end-game scenarios: randomized mid- to late-game challenges we’re introducing to challenge the late-game to steamroll—where the player is so powerful that there’s a little-to-no challenge left and less of a reason to complete the campaign. Think Greenskin invasions or resurgences of the undead, as a few examples (presumably in addition to a Chaos Invasion).

The Kingdom of Kislev, sometimes known as the Realm of the Ice Queen, is the most northerly human civilization within the Old World, a powerful and war-driven nation that is known far and wide for having some of the greatest horsemen to ever roam the plains of the southern realms. From the Worlds Edge Mountains to the East and the Sea of Claws in the West, Kislev stands at the very frontiers of human civilization. Lonely villages stand isolated in the empty wilderness, while 3 mighty cities (Kislev, Erengrad, and Praag) rise from the landscape like great islands of stone.
Kislev is a land covered in wide-open steppes, deep taiga forest, and thundering icy rivers. In the south, the climate is somewhat milder, allowing wide-scale farming, although winters are still bitterly cold. Heading north, Kislev becomes increasingly cold and barren, before ending somewhere in the marshy tundra of Troll Country. Overall, the climate is harsh and unforgiving, winters are long and dark.

SSHIP, or Stainless Steel Historical Improvement Project, is an ambitious mod for Medieval II Total War, known for its historical accuracy and unique gameplay changes. It has won first place in the 2018, 2019, and 2020 TWC Modding Awards for Medieval II Total War Submods. Here are some key features of SSHIP:
Unique Settlements: SSHIP adjusts the sizes and populations of cities and castles based on historical data. Major cities like Constantinople can start with a population of around 150,000, making public order a challenge to manage. In contrast, less developed regions like Scandinavia, Cumania, or Lithuania have smaller and slower-growing towns and villages, offering a diverse range of settlement experiences.
Buildings The mod discourages a "build everything everywhere" approach by introducing specific positive and negative factors for most buildings. Players must make strategic decisions on whether to construct a building based on its impact. There's also a limited tech tree, and advanced buildings may require specific professions like stonemasons or carpenters.
Economy SSHIP increases the cost of units and buildings, introduces siege upkeep, and incorporates more corruption in large cities. This change makes it important for players to manage their economy efficiently. On the positive side, the AI is more resource-conscious and focuses on settlement upgrades when not at war, reducing stack spam.
Dynamic Gameplay: SSHIP aims to enhance the game's dynamic nature by introducing various events and challenges. This prevents repetitive gameplay and keeps the experience engaging.
Religious Orders The mod adds depth to religious orders, making it more challenging to recruit religious order knights if your global standing is low or you are excommunicated. It introduces consequences for building too many major Templar buildings, such as unrest. The Teutonic Knights become available under specific conditions, adding historical accuracy to the game.
Crusader Support: Players can improve their standing with the Pope by supporting the Crusader States. The Pope periodically demanded financial assistance for the Crusades.
Family Dynamics SSHIP introduces a family-based system for plots and struggles for power within medieval kingdoms. Characters can have traits like "Rightful Leader/Heir," "Plots," "Usurper/Usurping," and "Regent," which affect their loyalty, behaviour, and potential to seize power. These features collectively create a historically accurate and engaging gameplay experience, offering a fresh perspective on Medieval II Total War.
