salvation-unveiled-discover-the-key-to
Salvation is the wonderful truth that God gives forever life. Salvation is God’s plan. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Salvation is the rescue of the human soul from sin and death and hell and satan.
Man is guilty of sin. He is headed for hell. ALL men are guilty. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Man desperately needs to be saved - BUT he cannot save himself by his own works. But GOD can save him: Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us...
Salvation is BY GRACE. It means a GIFT. Salvation is given to us, NOT earned by us. Salvation by grace, through faith, is free - the gift of God.
Salvation is NOT OF WORKS. Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. I do not work for it, nor do I work to keep it.
It is grace. God’s gift. Unmerited favour.
Salvation is completely a gift of God. Jonah 2:9 …Salvation is of the LORD. Salvation is a work of God. The Lord Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.
God has fully provided the righteousness which we could never attain on our own. This is called the Substitutionary Atonement. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Our salvation was purchased at great cost to our Lord. The Gospel is the good news that God has made a way of salvation - through Christ.
It is simple, free, and easy to be saved. It is not difficult. We have no work to do to receive everlasting life. You receive THE FINISHED WORK which has been completed by Christ at the cross.
God shows us HOW to have eternal life. John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
To Believe is the way to have Eternal life. John 3:16.
Salvation is for “WHOSOEVER”. Whosoever will may come.
God has made provision. For the whole world: John 1:29 ...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. There is universal provision.
What must we do? John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Salvation is instant. It is a one-time act of hearing (understanding the gospel) and believing it, which causes an irreversible change in your final destiny. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him...
Jesus ALONE is our justification and our sanctification.
He must save. It is NOT of yourselves. NOT of works.
Some teach a "works salvation" and scorn “easy-believism” - yet they preach a salvation that is hard to obtain, a “hard-believism”, a faith-plus message, where man has to contribute something - works.
The Bible shows us that Salvation is simple. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
Our very righteousness is a gift from God, by faith: Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe...
Salvation Is Simple. The new birth is immediate, irreversible and not a process.
If saved, we are always saved - permanently saved, and safe forever. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. We are ...kept by the power of God... 1 Peter 1:5.
As saved people, God will complete His work in us. Philippians 1:6 ...he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
We can rest in Christ, and in His finished work of salvation, wrought of God, for us. In us. There’s a great assurance here. Paul says, “Ye are saved.”
It’s by faith. That is it. Acts 16:31 ...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...
You can be saved, and know it. 1 John 5:13 ...ye may know that ye have eternal life...
It is free to you. It is Christ who has paid all the cost.
Trust Him. Only Christ. His so great salvation can be yours. By faith. It’s His gift. Simply receive it.
