To say that Dallara founder Gian Paolo gave us a special gift on his birthday is putting it lightly; the Stradale is quite possibly the closest a standard car has ever come to resembling a race car (its name literally means for the road).
Giuliano Daniele from Motor1.com Italy takes a ride in the lightweight sports car.
ZF has introduced its Vision Zero vehicle, a platform to showcase many of its upcoming technologies. From automated driving and enhanced safety systems, to a plug-and-play electrified axle, the company wants to reduce casualties and local vehicle emissions to zero. Hence the name.

Looking for a luxurious three-row crossover SUV? You might want to seek out a second mortgage while you’re at it. Many high-end manufacturers ask more than $70,000 for their most basic options. But you shouldn’t spend big dollars on a luxury-badged crossover based solely on brand power. At the very least, you should also check out more mainstream options like the new Hyundai Palisade, which is a competent, comfortable, near-lux three-row that won't break the bank.

We get up close with the new VW Jetta and GLI in-studio to see what's new.
Stepping inside the familiar cabin, the normal Jetta gets an eight-inch digital instrument cluster as standard equipment whereas the spicy GLI bumps the size to 10 inches. More significant changes have occurred underneath the hood where the base Jetta has finally dropped the 1.4-liter engine in favor of a slightly larger 1.5-liter unit shared with the Taos. Available with a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic, the turbocharged four-pot mill runs on the Miller cycle and has been available in Europe since 2018. In the case of the Jetta, it brings an output boost of 11 hp to a Taos-matching 158 hp while torque soldiers on at 184 pound-feet (250 Newton-meters).

Motor1 Senior Editor Jake Holmes gets behind the wheel of the 2018 WRX to see if Subaru's refresh has civilized the rally-bred machine.
For more Subaru WRX: https://www.motor1.com/subaru/wrx/
As-tested price: $32,205
Even before it made its way here in 2001, American car enthusiasts salivated over the Subaru WRX. An all-wheel-drive performance machine bred on Europe’s toughest rally stages? What was not to like? The car quickly became an icon, with turbocharged power that could be deployed equally as effectively on paved roads as on snow or gravel.
The current version of the WRX was introduced ; this 2018 model, revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January, has a mild facelift and some small equipment tweaks. As ever, the focus is on performance, with a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four engine dishing out 268 horsepower and a punchy 258 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels.
Yet Subaru also wants to make the WRX easier to live with. The 2018 one, for instance, adds niceties like a rear armrest with cupholders, extra sound deadening to keep the cabin quiet, and a redesigned crash structure to improve safety in collisions. Still, going fast has not been forgotten: a new Performance pack adds red-painted brake calipers with upgraded pads, new wheels, and deletes the sunroof to save weight.
See what all those changes mean for the latest version of Subaru’s performance sedan in our latest Why Buy? video.
