So I called this place due to a pop-up I had, I could not resist. Anyway, I knew from the get-go It was a scam. He tried the usual trick of msconfig talking about normal disabled services infecting my computer. Once I told him I knew it was a scam he went on to YouTube and decided he wanted to watch the game of thrones ad.
I don't have much on this scam unfortunately. But here is what I do have.

In this video, we get another stupid scammer and delete all his files. He gets annoyed with me at the end and tries to syskey however fails as all scammers do!
This type of scam is known as the '"refund scam" scammers will call you with an automated robot saying that their company is going out of business and you're going to get a refund for your tech support services. They usually only call people that had previously been a victim of or called a pop-up scam previously in the past.
Once connected to your computer, they have you log into your bank account and black your screen and pretend to send you the "refund" however, once they do they say they've transferred too much and that you need to return the money. If you don't they usually threaten to hold your bank account against you. So the scam is, you send them "back" money that was never sent to you in the first place. If you found this video by searching the number, please know this is a SCAM! Do NOT call the number back.

In this video we call a cold call scammer that left a voicemail claiming that I needed to reactivate my Windows licence key and that If I didn't my computer would be disabled. As you will see in this video, this is nothing more than a simple scam and scare tactic to steal your money.

This video is the start to many videos that I hope to produce more of in the future and that is more videos of how scammers try to scam mac users. It had came to my attention that there aren't any videos out there about the tactics used by Mac scammers to steal money from victims just as they do on Windows. For those who think that because you are on a Mac that you are immune to these scams, well, as you will find out in this video you are not. The scammer used many of the same tactics used on Windows but in a slightly different format.

In this video we call a company known as "AmericanGeeks" with a few other variants in naming. This company is nothing more than a scam to steal people's money. They have videos on YouTube claiming that customers have sent them in about how they fixed their computer when in reality, it's nothing more than a scam as you will see in this video. This company performs common scare-tactics to lure victims in such as lying about the stopped services (csrss.exe,) lying about the prefetch folder and claiming that there is a "trojan" on my computer. He also, made the insane claim that I needed "7 layer protection" at the whopping cost of $700.
