Just showing some one it running :)
Tere was no nut on the axle where it passed through the strut, hence the rattle.

The MK2 CVt demonstrates that it has enough power to ping the pink drive clip off, I don't need so much torque, so I ended up rebuilding it without the reduction gear on the ratchet, as it happens, if I'd put another pink clip on the back of the final drive cog, it would have been ok.

Hi Megachum, I've put this clip on here so you can get an idea of the dramatic start to our movie. This is shot using a cheap camera from a limited angle shot, better technology would give a much better effect. Mine is a very 'butch' industry - ideal as an intro in to a movie about a subject that many regard as something that only wimps suffer from - depression :-)

Stanbridge Earls - because it's my very first go with Magix movie editor, I let it run in 'automatic' mode - the result is a little bit choppy and jumps from scene to scene sometimes too quickly, but it works! :) . Ideally I would have taken more footage, but I was having control difficulties with the flying camera, which were it not for the fact that anything not listed is going to be demolished the following week (so I didn't need to be worried too much if I crashed in to it!), I wouldn't have been flying at all. Still, glad to have been able to have made this - enjoy. :)
A bunch of us 'old boys' had gone to see the old school for one last time.....
See this video for more details concerning the problems I had that day, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocaywAMGJ7M
and thanks to Clifton Cameras for replacing the unit outright - good service, because of this, they are my 'go to' supplier' of anything that can take photos/video. :)

UNSTABLISED video version. Demonstrating that I cannot fly a helicoper and make a video of it at the same time - made a total mess of the video in the process - there was a low wind blowing across the tops of the trees that almost carried the chopper in to the branches, but fortunately I was able to drop it down without hitting the tree. I have a small camera on order that will go IN the helicopter - if it doesnt lift the weight, I can always take off some of the lights - especially the 'torpedo' thing between the skids. The lights were already installed and are standard to this model. A helmet mounted camera for me would be a good idea too.

The great catalytic converter carbon con commented. Video filmed in my 400,000 mile Prius.
I did some working out - the car used the equivalent of 2.35 miles worth of fuel to heat up a catalytic converter, that then just cooled down again as I made my journey around the local village in electric mode. Even traditional vehicles used on short journeys, squander more fuel and create more pollution to heat the converter, then is actually used to power the car. The best thing governments can do to create an immediate drop in emissions is to instruct car manufacturers to tune engines for maximum economy, this would allow cars to run at maximum efficiency, which has got to be the best answer all around for everybody, well except maybe the oil industry lobbyists ;)
In the future, electric motors will start taking over, meanwhile the piston engine will be with us for a long time yet, so an uploadable engine software tweak by manufacturers on all existing vehicles would help drive down the carbon emissions that are an existential threat to all life on our planet, as well as unnecessary oil depletion. while the removal of converters on new vehicles which with the new technology computerised engines, will allow them to run clean enough to not need them, especially on start up where the emissions from the convertors are so extreme you can really smell them in the vacanity. I know of someone who removed the converter from his vehicle (naughty!) as it was damaged and replaced it with a length of pipe as a quick fix, he only remembered he had done this when the vehicle came back from the MOT test station and had passed emissions, the MOT tester must have mistaken one of the exhaust mounted silencers for the missing convertor - it probably helped that he is a farmer and the underside of the vehicle was caked in mud!
You see engines now run so clean, catalytic converters have become nothing more then a feel good scam - the time has come to legistrate them and all the waste, emissions and pollution they cause, out of existence.
