Sorry for nagging you guys with a second video, but I was feeling exceptionally motivated this morning and thought I'd share what I believe is a very important excerpt from chapter 8 of Jose Ortega y Gasset's The Revolt of the Masses. I don't agree with everything Ortega says, because I believe that the Club is responsible for creating and manipulating the "rebel masses" that lead to the extinction of all civilizations. However, I do think that a lot of what Ortega said and wrote can be used to better understand other facets of the multifaceted problem that we are facing today, other facets that many others normally ignore or just don't see.
