Building new habits can be extremely tough. Often we know we want to change things in our lives, but we can have a hard time making the changes stick. I want to share how the simple act of rewarding yourself can make a massive difference. Not only will you be more likely to stick to the new habit, you'll also be more likely to look forward to doing the habit.
It takes a little bit of thought and willpower, but if you can adjust your habit forming approach a little, positive reenforcement can really help you redesign your lifestyle easily and better yet, you can enjoy doing it!

If you want to be healthier, working out can help. But it's much easier to change your lifestyle and get more movement in your life every day than to add an hour at the gym a few times a week. Hey everyone! I'm starting a new Ground Movement Series today! There is no instruction just the natural movement workout. This is a workout built on basic ground work. This is a no equipment workout you can do at home. You need just enough space to move around. I'm using a MovNat mat, but that's not necessary either!
This is my first video where I've tried voice over and just had the workout just be the workout so you can follow along. I'd love your feedback on this one. I’m stuck in Virginia. I was supposed to be back in Colorado over a week ago. Sometimes things happen you can’t control. It’s easy to see a thing as good or bad, but it’s really more about how you look at it. Today I want to talk about how there is no good, there is not bad, there is only perspective.
I want to share some of my history and how it’s driven me to build the life I want. I’ve been in a funk since I’ve been stuck in Virginia. But people I care about snapped me out of it. I've been having chest pain and breathing issue recently that make you legitimately wonder if you're dying. I've been trying all kinds of things to relieve the discomfort with little success. Just a few minutes ago I decided to check my scalenes for trigger points.
I should know better and should have started there but oh well. They were exceptionally tender indicating an issue. I decided to try something different than my regular release technique and had incredible results so I had to share it with you guys.
After about 10 reps total on both sides all of my issues basically relieved. This is the fastest release I've ever had! I hope it helps you out!

This video is going to share a simple trick I recently learned to get more out of forced exhale work. Practicing forced exhales strengthens your diaphragm and other support expiration muscles. It also retrains your diaphragm to be comfortable over a wider range of motion. This all adds up to better breathing for you when you're sitting still or working hard!

I'm starting you off with a quick warm-up and then progressively building you up to more challenging movements. Take your time and don't force the workout. You have to love yourself first. If you want to start your fitness journey right there is something you need to always keep in mind. If you come from a place of self-hate rather than self-love, you will never feel satisfied with your progress.
I have always had a problem with the mainstream health and fitness industry's predatory nature. Too often the industry makes money by making us feel inadequate. This inspires an attitude of " I'm missing something" or "I'm not good enough". This attitude is not important for self-improvement.
You can love yourself and still want to be better than you are. You do not have to hate yourself to also inspire yourself. Start your fitness journey off right and cultivate an attitude of self-love. Achieving your health goals will be easier and more satisfying.
