Moon: Remix RPG Adventure - Part 3 New House, Tropical Forest, and Adder's Religion
This is the beginning of the severely annoying minigames that are about to come and what I suspect was the dealbreaker in shipping this game west originally. We have to play three games with Adder to unlock an area to explore where we know the Hero went. All of these are memory games, which if you're recording like I am and willing to cheat, can be extremely easy to beat, but if you want to do them legitimately they are very painful.
First, you have to remember his phrase, with whatever errors that are present. Then you have to play a musical game where some of the things are barely any different. Finally, you just have to remember his face in a split second, which is easier than it sounds. With all of this out of the way, the final of the locked areas is unlocked and we can explore the remainder of the world (Bali Bali Island excepted for now).
I wrap things up in the Tropical Forest rounding up easy to find souls, but I do lose audio here. It slightly comes back in the next video, but it won't be until the one after that where I completely locate the issue. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MMWNhMwue4
For once we have a thumbnail without one of the ladies of the series. I could have done the clerk at the agency, but this is definitely a pretty nice CG, so I figured I should give it the attention it deserves.
As for the part at hand, this is where Wallace's plan is blown wide open. By a somewhat chance encounter, Hal gains some important information about the ABS, which reveals its critical flaw. From there, he needs to decide what is the best way to approach profiting from this, as the fallout could be big enough to allow him to finally attain his dream.

This should come as no surprise, but remember this place as we will be throwing down with Leonar here later and the gimmick here is repeated there. The silver lining to everything is that a better strategy game is supposed to be releasing next week, so I can put this on the back burner while focusing on that.
As for this one, we get the new gimmick of having an enemy max spec'ed before the battle begins. Basically, he has maxed out cards that emphasize his power, pretty much allowing him to one shot anything I have. Unless you can get him onto a new card tile that will start to erase these advantages, you either have to have the means to resurrect and try to win through attrition, or blow him up immediately before he can do too much damage. Either way, I'm not too impressed and just need to power through hoping that there is a development down the line to try to salvage the game.

To wrap things up, I am putting out a video with the remaining bonding events that did not fall into other videos. For Jusis, I included the scene with his brother at the end of the game when both are wielding family swords, since that is why I did the event in the first place. I do not remember if there is a scene with Kurt about his swords or Celine's ribbon, so those will not appear here, assuming they do exist.
With this, CS4 has come to a close and now I can start looking for other things. Here's hoping I can make the return to VNs sooner rather than later.

Returning to Crossbell, all the stops are out now as the very SSS Building gets shot up. Fleeing into the streets, we move from district to district looking for a safe place to hide. With even the roads out of the city closed, it is only with the help of the Crois family that the group can hide in the IBC. Unfortunately, the very bank itself is in danger, leaving the SSS to go out and confront the mob to buy time...

This is the last mission I recorded for this weekend, which was the conclusion to Phoenix's promotion campaign. Promotions must be concluded in single-player, so after this, we stopped for awhile, which is why this is the finale for the week. We have an Aquarq mission, and after struggling through these for awhile, you can see that we can resolve them fairly quickly. Sometimes there may be additional effects in place that make it more difficult, but for vanilla ones like this, it takes some exceptional bad luck to change things up.
The special highlight of the video is my sacrificial leap. Luck and quick thinking...

There seem to be two different routes that converge underground to give you access to Alfornada. I'm hoping that there is a simpler way to reach the place, because that route is kind of annoying. It is easier to navigate with the high jump ability, but it is possible to do the backwards jump glitch to get access to this place really early. You will not be able to catch and control things you find here, and the trainers should be able to destroy you, so you will need to evade a lot.
Otherwise, once we reach Alfornada, we are able to fight the psychic gym. This lady is no Sabrina, but if you have a good bug, dark, or ghost Pokemon, she can go down fairly easily. Overall, she is just another entry of the many gym leaders that fail to impress, and they only get worse from here.

There are problems in the set of videos where the audio is vastly reduced from normal. This is a technical thing that will go away after I reboot everything, but I did not want to replay this map. When I start uploading the hard mode, you will see how pressed I am for time in getting any recording done at all. Overall, I am a little more focused on making the hard mode a little higher quality even if I can't provide commentary for the entire thing.
As for the mission at hand, we are raiding a lab for the plans for the neotanks. Based on how this is set up, the only Yellow Comet realistically viable in this map is Kanbei himself. Our goal is to use Sami to protect him while he gets his properties and then takes to the skies. In terms of timing, you can see things are really tight in making sure I reach the lab in time with the transport copter and actually resolving the mission. There is a little variability at the beginning based on how Adder uses his air force, so it is possible Sami ends up in really bad shape, and you may just want to restart instead of playing through it.

Blue needs to do his urgent to get to the next tier of high rank, which sends us against a returning monster from World. I can't help but think he had more tricks in World than here as he seems to be extremely tame compared to how I remember. It is possible that with a blade his mud is more effective, but I don't know. Like everything else, he goes down in a hail of gunfire, so it goes...

If you accept Apsaras's quest, you can attack Leanan Sidhe on sight. You can find her in Shiba as I show at the end of the video when I get my reward. The difference is merely who you fight and who joins you afterward. Apsaras is the offensive option into the boss fight (she also gives HP boosting items), but she has a fire weakness you will need to play around to get the most of her. Due to her high level relative to the boss, you may find her handy, so it is your choice.
