Most celebrities are staying mum on the courtroom showdown between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard amid their ongoing defamation trial, but a select few have picked sides.
Perhaps the majority are too weary of taking heat from the public — as Drew Barrymore did when she “made light” of the allegations on her talk show and then had to backtrack.
“It’s, like, one layer of crazy — it’s a seven-layer dip of insanity,” the “Never Been Kissed” star had previously said on “The Drew Barrymore Show” about the case.
Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 36, over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed she wrote, in which she called herself a victim of sexual violence.
Although the “Aquaman” star did not name the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star in the piece, it was written a few years after she had accused him of abuse in a 2016 restraining order.
Now that both actors have taken the stand at a Fairfax County, Va., courthouse, more stars are sharing whom they believe, just a few weeks before the jury weighs in on their decision.

In addition to the Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer, the entire Star Wars saga is ready and available to stream for fans near and far, far, away on Disney+. From the original trilogy, prequels and the new era, every installment is available to binge, as well as Disney+ series like The Mandalorian.

Well, from the brief time we’ve had with Moff Gideon, it seems that—like any Giancarlo Esposito-played villain—he’s a pretty bad dude. And you can bet The Mandalorian hasn’t even come close to dishing on his origins and motivations quite yet.
In Season Two, at the very least, we should learn how Gideon came to wield the Darksaber—which would tell us more about the character’s early life. As is tradition for the Mandalorians, did he have to wrestle it off of someone, maybe even Bo-Katan? Or did Gideon go all Storage Wars and swipe it from its resting place, like Sabine Wren before him?
This one could be more of a stretch, but: As a force-using Mandalorian and an Imperial officer, Gideon is smack in the middle bubble of a very strange and dangerous Venn diagram. Could that put him amongst the ranks of the Sith? And who would that put him in company with, if no one ever really goes away (and the dead are always speaking!) in the Star Wars universe?
We’ll see what surprises Jon Favreau has in store when The Mandalorian returns in Fall 2020.

Intelligence will carry a person a long way in Westeros. Some of the most significant players aren't warriors but masterminds who let others fight for them. Aemond may not be on the same level as Littlefinger or Tyrion Lannister, but he's by no means an idiot.
As the younger brother, Aemond had little chance of inheriting much power by birthright, so he dedicated himself to self-improvement in ways Aegon never will. He's a lot like Daemon in that sense, filling the gaps that his brother leaves behind, though he's driven more by spite than love.
While Aegon was committing adultery and drowning himself in ale, Aemond studied the blade. Among the show's Targaryens, Aemon is among the most formidable fighters, second only to Daemon. Originally, he was much less confrontational, keeping to himself while hiding his resentment for his brother and nephews. After he lost his eye, he gained a deadly fixation on Rhaenyra's sons, particularly Lucerys.
Aemond's missing eye hasn't hindered him in the slightest. Since the time jump, he's already proven himself by sparring against the deadly Kingsguard, Criston Cole. With Vhagar by his side and several more years to grow, he'll only get stronger with time. However, what's important is what he does with that strength.
