MySIGHT is a crowdsourcing asset digitization system, enabling valuable asset data to be internally crowdsourced from TNB’s very own staff. This can save cost, improve efficiency, and create new values for TNB.

MySIGHT is an asset tracking application that allows users to register, view, modify, and validate asset information including geographic coordinates on a map.

These are the functions in MySIGHT. It allows searching, displaying and editing asset information, getting your current geolocation, navigating to the selected location, and filtering asset records according to categories, namely: PMU, PPU, SSU, PE, Feeder Pillar, Link Box, Joint Pit, and Manhole.

This application allows TNB staff to track the exact location of each TNB asset, input new data, and update existing assets either on a voluntary basis or via work instructions.

MySIGHT allows users to get their current location. From here, they can choose which navigation app they will use to complete the navigation. Users may also use MySIGHT to validate TNB assets on location.

mySIGHT enables data validation to be done easily from anywhere. Users can add their comments for any of the selected asset. This will provide information on the current state of the asset after its information is collected.

MySIGHT can assist TNB staff for ground truth verification. TNB personnel working in the field utilize MySIGHT to assist their daily tasks.

At the back end of the system, there is a secured database capable of storing large amounts of records. The centralized nature of the system prevents duplication in an effort to enhance data accuracy.



MySIGHT would be one of the essential systems for TNB. It is user-friendly, cost-effective, and provides very valuable current data on asset information.
