How Do Some People Not Realize That They Are Living As Caricatures?
As I've mentioned a few times recently, I've been staying in Denver with a friend of mine who I know from Rainbow. When we first met, it was an instant deep-dive into conversations about anarchy...
Unfortunately, since then he has been sucked pretty effectively into the [renewed false left-right paradigm](https://peakd.com/informationwar/@kennyskitchen/my-take-on-the-current-left-vs-right-extremism-they-re-telegraphing-civil-war-why-are-people-falling-for-it), and is now one of those folks who constantly complains about "the right" - and hangs out far more with people on "the left," pretty much to the total exclusion of actual freedom lovers.
Last night, a few of his *leftie* friends came over, as did my friend Bruce and a couple others. At one point, Bruce and I were talking about this weekend's [Mega Freedom Rally](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/TNUEWwRRMC0/maxresdefault.jpg) in Vancouver, BC - which we had almost made the trip out for, but the ticket price and lack of certainty about getting let into the country stopped us.
So... we're talking about this epic rally, with thousands of attendees and dozens of world-class speakers... and one of the *lefties* goes into a little rant about how turned off she is by the idea of something called a **Freedom Rally** because her imagination immediately went to "a bunch of Trumpers with assault weapons breathing into each others' faces." I don't think there's too many Trump folks in Canada... and I know there's not many guns (much less government-buzzword-"Assault Weapons")
Let's just say that things got even weirder from there.
I definitely don't care much (if at all) about the *Left vs Right* spectrum... because I find the *Authoritarian vs Libertarian* spectrum to be far more important, and to actually be a matter of principles, instead of personal preference.
That said... I'm definitely getting more and more convinced (by "Leftists") that most of "the left" is insanely pro-state at this point.

Today, let's talk about a couple ways to find new content creators to follow, as well as how you can help spread the creators you most enjoy and build ever-growing communities here on Steemit.
I've found the easiest way to locate new creators is to look at other people's following list (steemit.com/@anyusersname/followed), or their feed (steemit.com/@anyusersname/feed). The benefit of the "following list" is that it includes the option to follow people right there as a button next to each name, while the benefit of the feed is that you can actually see what people are posting and thus it's easier to decide who to follow.
Another option, which is a little trickier to just stumble across, is to view lists of content creators focusing on a specific topic. Obviously, these lists don't just exist all over the place for every topic, so some searching would be involved, but they're a great way to share the folks you've discovered, so others can follow them :-)

Hello beautiful humans!
It definitely feels a bit odd being back in Babylon (even if it is a small hippie mountain town), but it feels good to be back with my digital community!
A couple of highlights/news from this year's gathering:
1. We had the highest elevation *OHM* in Rainbow Family history
2. There was actual silence, and an *OHM* at the road / "A-Camp"
3. Without any of the "major" kitchens, without most of our infrastructure, the gathering still went off smoothly (just like last year's did)
Overall it was a pretty small gathering, which was expected due to the continued Facebook army push to end the Rainbow. I talked to multiple people in the woods who actually thought that there was no Gathering last year... and then who all had pretty much the same response: *"I knew better! Ignore all rumors of cancellation!!!"*
As I mentioned in the video, I'll be releasing the rest of the interview series from last year's gathering over the next few days.

Give someone the power to tell others what to do, the power to use force, fraud, and coercion against them, without repercussions. What do you think will happen?

It doesn't matter if we're talking about a king claiming his *divine right* or a president claiming that they have power because people checked a box.
Any interaction that is not voluntary & consensual, is wrong.
What's the difference between rape & sex?
What's the difference between charity & taxes?
Consent.
The "State" is the exact opposite of consent; it is a group of people claiming that they hold the monopoly on violence in an area, because at some time in the past, someone somewhere consented to it.

First, LBRY cleared [one million users, AND one million blocks](https://odysee.com/@lbry:3f/1M:8) on the blockchain, and literally **the next day** #Splinterlands clears [one million transactions in a day](https://twitter.com/splinterlands/status/1419288964264079360)... Then 1.5 million [the next day](https://twitter.com/splinterlands/status/1419679888970223617), and now the [average for the week](https://twitter.com/splinterlands/status/1420012203676209156) is over 1 million per day.
Today, the #SPS #Airdrop launched. Day 1 of 365.
Things basically crashed for the Hive blockchain because of the huge influx of transactions.
[Cointelegraph](https://cointelegraph.com/news/nft-based-game-splinterlands-raises-3-6m-via-private-token-sale) just covered it today... so you can only expect to see those numbers going up.

Over the past week or so, we have seen quite a dip in the general crypto market, but especially in some of the "big name" coins like Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, etc.
But here's the thing... the market as a whole has only dropped by ~1/6
That market cap for the whole of crypto was only up around 2.4-2.5 trillion before the "crash..."
Know when the first time it cleared 1 trillion was?
Go ahead and look it up, I'll wait :-P
What we're currently seeing is a *fire sale*, with reduced prices largely based on Technocrat extraordinaire Elon Musk's tweets - and the *whales* are gobbling up tiny investors as they panic sell the dip...
Bitcoin is still on track for $100k this year, and the market will add another trillion by summer most likely.
If you've been waiting to get into crypto, now's a great time.
If you've already gotten into crypto, and now everything is down, then it's time to *Dollar Cost Average.*

The more important element of this, of course, is the shift away from a *punitive justice* framework, where people are judged and labeled as "bad" because of something they did in the past - moving forward with an understanding that acts of violence happen because of trauma.
Rather than treating people who were traumatized as children, not taught morality/principles, and grow up to be violent, as "criminals" or "bastards," let's treat them as humans in need of healing, support, and help in re-programming their brains.
