Afrikan life in this millennia is imperiled by White and Asian power. True power must nest in the ownership of the real estate wherever Afrikan people dwell. Economic destiny determines biological destiny. 'Blueprint for Black Power' details a master plan for the power revolution necessary for Black survival in the 21st century. White treatment of Afrikan Americans, despite a myriad of theories explaining White behavior, ultimately rests on the fact that they can. They possess the power to do so. Such a power differential must be neutralized if Blacks are to prosper in the 21st century ... Aptly titled, 'Blueprint for Black Power' stops not at critique but prescribes radical, practical theories, frameworks and approaches for true power. It gives a biting look into Black potentiality.

The evolution of skin colour may have taken many twists and turns. According to a 2014 paper, the skin colour of human ancestors may have been pale. The article presents a model of how skin colour evolved, with the evolution of dark skin (and thus increased melanin) by natural selection protected the newly hairless hominins from developing skin cancer. This idea that skin colour evolved fits in with what is known about skin cancer rates among albinos, and about the biology of skin colour more generally. A good follow up video to this is my Introduction to Melanin: https://youtu.be/5A6K73pPEv8. And don't miss future AfricansArise videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/AfricansArise?sub_confirmation=1

We need to stop whining about people 'appropriating' our cultures and start making it work for us.

This is a brief snippet from the conversation I had with the Pantsula podcast in which I reflect on my political wandering over the past few years, from revolutionary panafricanist to negroconservative and back again! I share this because I think it'll be useful for people to know a bit of my background. I think this will also be useful for those Black folks who are on a similar trajectory to hear this. I hope to make a longer video to speak more on the political dynamics of my journey as there's a lot more to be said. Check out the full interview here: https://youtu.be/gNs3Dg4OpZw
