There are a lot of misconceptions surrounding Christianity and one of those is this doctrine of sinless perfection. Can you believe that there are many people who reject Christ and his message because they feel His word is asking them to do something impossible, or people fear to go/getting back in the church because they feel they've sinned so badly that they can't be saved? So we need to ask these 2 questions. The first, does the bible teach that you have to be perfect? The second, does God expect Christians to be perfect? It's because of this false doctrine the world spreads that people fear going to church causing them to stay away from church. However, these poor souls fail to understand that you are never too far gone to be saved. They fail to understand that there's no sin too great that God cannot forgive. As it's very sad they don't know that you don't have to be perfect to be worth it. Here's the truth, the church is a hospital for the broken. I want you to know that no matter how hard you may try, you can't fix yourself. Only God can fix it better than you can. That way is that Christ died for all my sins past, present, and future. However, the beginning of this knowledge starts because we must fear the Lord and depart from evil. Scripture tells us, "do not quench the spirit."
