Setting up of a Trade Remedies Committee has been recommended as a lasting solution to the recurrence of trade disagreements in the East African Community Region.

A team of sevenpara-badminton players was flagged off for Barhain last evening by the Uganda Paralympic commitee president MpindiBumaali. Team will participate in the international para-badminton championship that will take placein Manama city, Bahrain from the 17th- 23rd May 2023.
This championship is a pathway to the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris.
Sarah Naziwa, Ali Mukasa, Nansereko Rose, Mwesigwa Elizabeth, MubiruHassana, MutesiSuminiand Asiimwe Rita are the players that will represent Uganda in the Wheel chair, standing upper and standing lower categories.
The championship being a pathway to the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, players will be looking at gathering as many points as they can to qualify.
The team will compete against 44 countries that include India, Hongkong, Cameron, Nigeria, Egypt, Sweden, China, France, England, Canada, host Bahrain.
After this event the same players will take part in the Uganda international para-badminton here in Kampala from 3rd -9th july and the Africa para-badminton event from 11thto 16th of july2023 in kampala.
