I have already completed an earlier seed and experienced the well-crafted randomized process that this program is capable of and has proven to be a pretty sweet playthrough from start to finish. However, in the spirit of an earlier playthrough of this game's sequel, The Thousand Year Door; I have decided to challenge myself. There was a particular setting that got my attention that mentioned "Enemy Damage" and there were three options: Normal, Double Damage and Quadruple Damage. Considering that I had done something of the sort for the Gamecube successor, I've decided to create another seed and double the danger with "Double Damage". I will be 100% blind at the run, only knowing where I'll be starting which will be Goomba Village in the game with some assorted badges, items and Goombario as back-up. From there, I'll need to figure out the open-world route that the game WANTS me to take while trying to recruit all of my other party members and then take it back to Bowser and kick his spiny-shelled hide and arrive to the coveted credits screen. To be fair, this game certainly has a fair bit of charm and it's not bad starting out of the gate. However, if one begins to tread deeper and deeper, you start to realize that this might not be a game entirely intended for children. I'm sure that if this game was released much earlier in the Super Nintendo's life, it'd have a better standing (better than Tom & Jerry anyway), but we ALL know how swift and efficient Titus is with their game releases.
