Aluminum Bushing Retainer
Welcome!!! In this video I make some aluminum bushing retainers for an incinerator blast gate. The gates have a rod with limit switches to control how far open and closed. The bushing keeps the rod centered and provides a seal. Expansion/contraction has loosened the bushing in its housing and the bushing moves when the gate moves making the limit switches not engage. These retainers are designed to allow them to be installed without disassembling anything on the gates and be a permanent fix to the system.

A grizzly is like a screen or sieve that goes over a hopper or bin to limit or prevent material that is too big from entering the hopper. This grizzly is a replacement for a hopper that we designed and built 10 years ago. These are typically used in sand and gravel for keeping large boulders and rocks out of bin so it doesn't get clogged. This is a small sample of some of the things that we build here. Welcome!!! In this video I show you our new heavy duty shop table. All other previous tables in the shop just never held up so I went to designing an extreme welding table to handle the heaviest of fabrications. The weight limit of this table is limited by the adjustable feet at 20kips per foot or 80,000lbs (36000Kg). The table top is 2" thick and has holes to be able to use the 5/8" clamping systems out there (now I just need to get some of the stuff). I might do some video montages when I make some of the hardware. The "heavy duty" tables that I have seen for sale would never survive in our shop so I guess this counts as EXTREME.
